MJV: I have arthritis and need a flat, lightweight comfortable shoe with a thicker sole and that offers support. These do just that for me (and don't look "orthopedic").. I prefer backless for ease of getting on and off. They stay put once on and I never worry about losing one say while walking down stairs. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend them.

boycatz3: I have a difficult time finding the wider size. I work with children, a retired teacher, on my feet all day. I also work with a developmentally disabled lady and I have been wanting her shoes since I first saw them. Amazon is to blame. Thanks for sending them to me. The minute I tried them on I knew I was not going to return them. As soon as you have more in stock I am going to get more in colors. To me this is a practical purchase.

Lindilou: have wanted a pair of these backless sketchers and they are very well made. But I had to return them as they are at least a size too big. I'm a five and they were far too big!

Kejebu: I really like slip on mule type shoes. I have 2 pairs of these. They are good length wise for me, but just a bit wide. Sometimes I will catch the edge of the shoe on a rug and lose my balance. Support is not real great. My chiropractor told me I should be wearing shoe supports or custom made orthotics. I can't use these shoes because the insole is glued in. There might be a few Skechers for orthotics, but they are not slip on mules. I also wear my shoes out pretty quickly and these are not lasting as long as I'd like. I have ordered a different brand that is more expensive, but it has removable insoles. Other styles from skechers seem even less supportive, but overall they are comfy.

pleinelune: EDIT: I have been wearing a couple weeks now and these are what I wear 90% of the time! I like them over slippers, I wear them to the store, I still have my running shoes, but these are so much more convenient! I wouldn't suggest doing a long walk or run in them just because they do have an open back and while walking for errands, to take the dog out, not a problem, well, I will just use my running shoes for athletic walking.
When these are on sale again, I WILL get another pair, because these are SOOO my GO TO (even with bunions and a broken toe that sticks up a little)!

I got the 8.5 in gray as it was on sale for 30.99 and I like gray or black.
After reading reviews of some saying too big, some too small, I got what I wear in running shoes, 8.5.
Just got them today and tried on with a thin low running sock.
Fit as expected, but I should add one foot always feels just a tad small than the other, so all shoes feel a little tighter or looser depending on the foot.
PROS:
FIT - because of the slight lip on the back, an 8 would have been too small....
