This cost was absolutely incredible. We ordered it initially just for a costume for a Harry Potter themed party as my partner went as Nymphedora. And she loved the coat and will wear all winter this year.: Greta quality.

vicki leonhard: I got this jacket because it is gothic looking, and very stylish. It looks great on me, I'm tall (5'11) and it suits my tall build. The sleeves are actually long enough for me! I like how it fits (fitted) and how it falls on my body. I get a lot of compliments on it. It's unusual looking, and when i bought it, the price was very good! (The price has gone up since.) It's dressy looking and wool like. The buttons are sewn on good, which sometimes isn't the case. It is lined, also, which is awesome. The back drops longer than the front, with a little flare, and it stylish that way. Someone short might not like how it fits. It is warm for winter up to -15 C I'd say (I'm in Canada). You can wear it with colder weather if you have some layers underneath it.

Dawn McNutt: The coat is cute. Would be better if it had an inner zipper. Takes a while to fasten all the buttons. The collar was laying a little bit weird out of the box but I messed with it and it looks good now. It's a little weird that the string in the neck does not go through the hood, so you cannot tighten the hood around your face. So the string is rather useless. It just barely does anything when you pull on it to close the neck maybe? It lays nice and looks like a dress when it's on so it will be good for wearing with dresses so I'm keeping it.

Misunderstood: Make sure you read the measurements because there is no room for minor errors. This is wool so it does not forgive and stretch for you so if you don’t do your do diligence with measuring your actual size you may not be able to button your coat.
With that said I got lucky and mine fits beautifully. I use this as my “fancy” winter coat for when I dress up. Everyone loves it and I get a ton of compliments when I wear this coat! It is very figure flattering even if you’re plus size like me. But be prepared, as with ANY wool coat it is a major magnet for lint and fur. You cannot leave your coat just laying around the house unless you don’t care that it collects literally everything. Having a lint roller in your purse is a must have whenever you plan on wearing this. I also suggest that when u aren’t wearing this you hang it up high because it is very long. I have to store mine in a protective bag when not wearing as well. If I didn’t do that I’d be spending and hour getting all the lint and fur off before I left the house. Doesn’t matter how clean ur house is. If there is lint and fur anywhere, it WILL find your wool coat. I still love my coat though and it’s...

WhitneyWhitney: I bought this in a size XL the first time around and I am very top heavy with broad shoulders so the XL did not fit in the chest or the shoulders. But I did not want to give up on this very nice unique coat so I ordered the coat again in a 1X and it fits great in the shoulders and chest, however, I wish it wasn’t so baggy at the bottom. It still works for me though. The uniqueness of this coats is why I like it so much and it’s worth keeping. The coat seems to be made well it’s not too heavy but it’s also not too light. It’s very long and I’m 5’9” so you can see how long it is on me in the pics. Very nice, unique, and a keeper!!

Monica: I just got this coat in last week, and I was super happy with it!
It's definitely warmer than I thought, I think I will be able to wear it in the Northern Ontario winters, rather than the spring and fall I thought it would work for.
I got the medium, which is my usual size, and it fits so we'll, might be a tad big, but idk if I would even say that.
One down thing about it is that, since the bottom is cut so the sides are shorter, they kind of poof out a bit. It looks really nice tho, just not quite as pictured. And I'm hoping it will settle down more as I wear it.
Overall, I am so glad I bought this!

KiraskygilKiraskygil: The media could not be loaded.  The size I ordered is small because I've read in one of the reviews here that this coat is on the bigger side. My height is 4'11 ,my bust is 38in, my waist is 36in, and my hips is 41 in. I am on the chubby side. And the tag written in the neck part of thus coat is "L" which means they sent me large?now I'm confused. 🤷‍♀️. But either way the length of the sleeves of this coat is 22 in, and the height from shoulders to covering up to 3/4 onto my legs is 43in. It fit just perfectly for me. It is warm enough for autumn season. I am very happy with my purchase and I like the coat and it's design. Hope my review helps you as you choose your sizing 🙏😇

Megan Farmer: While I ended up keeping this jacket, it for sure was not what I was expecting.

First, the good stuff:
- I LOVE the design. I got the one that doesn't have the hood (more steampunk/colonial style) and it's a great cut.
- The fit was right on point (I'm 5'6" and weigh 150 - medium fit me perfectly.)
- Also, I was surprised at the fabric! I was expecting it to be thinner considering the price, but it was fairly decent.

Next, the not so great stuff:
- This does not come with a lining. And after walking around it in, I noticed a lot of bunching because the felt was rubbing up against the rest of my clothes. Adding lining costs around $100 at a tailor, so if you're willing to spend the extra money, go for it. But from my research, you'd be better off spending $170 on a really good pea coat that comes WITH lining.
- The white buttons reminded me of granny earrings, and not in a good way. They're made of cheap plastic. I opted to cut them off and replaced them with some brass Celtic knot buttons.
- The side pockets are NOT flattering. There is lot of bunching in the material, the pockets go straight down instead of at an angle and they are awkward to use....
