Nicole Z.: Nice color. Not as stretchy as I imagined but not a problem for me personally. I wish the pocket was a little bigger-doesn’t quite fit my smaller sized smart phone. Definitely sits at the lower hips. Length is good for me as it covers without being too long.

MB in TN: These shorts are very comfortable. Loved them with the exception that the drawstring is ineffective. If you have wider hips, and smaller waist- then these shorts are going to be droopy. I wore x-long shirts to hide that issue but it was disappointing.

Amazon Customer: These shorts suffer from what many brands suffer from when designing for larger sizes. Instead of creating unique measurements for each size, they simply scaled up the pattern from the small sizes for the larger sizes. This results in the larger sizes fitting awkwardly. That all being said, if it fits your shape, then awesome. I ordered my size and one size up to try them both on. These sit on the high hip, not at- or even close to my waist (I am high-waisted) so I needed the size up to avoid that awful muffin-top look. In order to fit my waist, they are very loose around my actual hips and legs. There is no wiggle-room in the waistband of these trunks except to maybe cinch them 1/2"-3/4" tighter. There is no stretch in the waist. The larger sizes of these trunks would be perfect for people with a smaller/lower waist and larger hips/thighs. You should be able to order your natural size if you have that body shape.
The material is similar to mens trunks and that is what I was looking for. Most swim shorts for women are still made out of swimsuit material and I didn't want that, though I do not understand why they don't put a mesh liner like they do with men's trunks. You...
