Aaron: The last water shoe I bought was 16yrs ago. They looked the same as the ones my mom got me 20yrs before that. Nerdy, un-stylish and lame. I was about to go on vacation this year, saw these and was intrigued. First off, this seller was one of the couple that offered this in my size (I wear a 15 in shoes). I tried it on and literally fits like a sock but with a solkd rubber bottom. We went swimming in Key West and they stayed on in the water. They didn't rub my heel. I like them so much wore them around Key West like shoes. Furthermore, on long trips in the semi I kick off my steel toes and drive with these on.

Laura Calvert: Bought for holiday to protect from hot sand and rocky seabeds. These looked good and did the job well. One star lost because they did retain water when leaving the sea/pool and needed taking off and "emptying" before walking to the bar otherwise it was rather squelchy!

Amazon Customer: I found these slightly on the small size. Ordered my usual Size 6. I notice they are 5- 6 so maybe why they fit snugly and not uncomfortable.
I used them for Aqua Aerobics...they are not completely non slip in the pool. I felt them slip a few times. However they felt very safe and non slip walking around the pool area. I tried a little Breast stroke swimming with them and felt they weighed my feet down slightly while draining the water. Its not that the socks are heavy ---only when full of water. I don't know if there are any that would be better in this respect and would welcome any comments
