Bethann: Pros: these are comfortable, generally stay put, and are thick enough to be decent and provide good sun protection.
Cons: they're not super flattering, and tend to bag when wet. I'd size down if you're on the line between sizes, and go a size longer if you're using to avoid sun--they pull up a bit when sitting.

S B Schulz: The capri length is exactly what I was looking for. I am 70+ years old and don't feel comfortable in a regular swim suit now but I love to swim. I am 5'8" and weigh 110# and used the size chart's waist and hip measurements which indicated I should order the S. The fit is good. The fabric is lightweight but I think it will be OK. The reason for the 4 stars is the way they shipped. Although they shipped same day as ordered, which is great, the label was simply placed on the zippered pouch the garment was in and the zipper top was not even taped. I am glad the zipper didn't pop open and the garment fall out during shipping.

Amazon Shipping left the bag in a trash can at the far end of my porch, took me all weekend to find them! The tracking notice had indicated they had been delivered to a "safe place". Of course that was not the vendor's fault.

Beth P: I bought a two piece tankini set a few months ago and ended up not being fond of the shorts that it came with at all. They were baggy, loose and just uncomfortable. So, I set out to try to find a pair of swim shorts that I would feel comfortable in. These are it! Amazing fit! They have an inner bikini style panty that fits perfectly. The length hits me right at my knees. I'm 50 years old and well, my legs are not as sightly as they were in my 20s- let's be real here. These shorts hide that fact and I feel amazing in them. They fit like a pair of workout leggings on me. Simple drawstring at the waist to keep them in place. I have a feeling I'm going to get a lot of use from these this summer or kayaking on the lake. These are exactly what I wanted. I bought the solid black ones and have laundered once so far & the color held up great! I am 5' 4" and about 162 lbs for reference. I went with the size medium and am happy with the fit. They're snug, like you'd want swimwear to be, but not so tight that they'll be uncomfortable to roam around in on an afternoon at the lake.

ShazShaz: LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I can't believe how soft and comfortable these are wet and dry. I'm so glad swim pants exist cause I can't wear just regular leggings in water without breaking out in hives. I was slightly worried if I'd have an allergic reaction with these pants once wet but nope, all good... actually fantastic. I put these to the test and it turns out they're very durable. I was tubing down a shallow river with lots of sharp rocks. I'm really surprised the behind area didn't rip cause man did it ever hurt going over them. And I took some falls getting out and cut up my shins pretty bad but there were no cuts on my knees nor thighs and they were definitely getting scratched up which means the pants protected the areas it covered, all while staying in tact and not ripping. One thing that kinda comically bothered me was the little tie strings at the bottom, definitely cute but for a long time I thought they were fish touching me.. nope they just came untied but that was probably my fault for not tying them tighter. Anyways I just can't get over how comfortable these are and extremely easy to take off. I did order a size or 2 larger cause I hate how swimsuits are hard to get off...
