Darlene KallevikDarlene Kallevik: I was hesitant to purchase these boots as I have wide calves. But after reading a lot of reviews saying wide circumference, I took a chance. This is not the case. I have a 16.5 circumference around my upper calf and it's tight. I am not sure if I will keep them or just return..
These are a size 8 and fit perfect just except for the calf part..

Rachel N.: I usually wear a nine but ordered the 8.5 and they fit great without being too tight or roomy as I have skinny feet. Would be really good for thick socks in the winter. A little uncomfortable as I break them in, but otherwise really good looking shoes and was exactly what I was looking for. And a really reasonable price compared to others
