Mary: This skirt has the look I hoped to find, and it washed and dried well. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that it bleeds color. Otherwise, it's a nice skirt to replace jeans.

Allison LAllison L: Jean skirts and I don’t usually get along, but this one is a keeper. It’s super light weight, which is great for me in Florida. I’m just under 5’4” so the skirt is a maxi on me, which doesn’t bother me. The tie on the waist is decorative only and can’t be used to adjust the waist size. I find the skirt mainly true to size, although on me, the waist is just a tiny bit large (not enough to bother me though). I love the white vertical stripes against the blue. It’s easy to care for—I put it in the washing machine and dryer, and it does fine. I haven’t yet worn it as a dress, but will probably do so next summer.
