firechkn: These are super comfy and dry quickly. A little small. I wear a 14 or 16 typically. Went with a 16W. Snug fit, an 18 would be bigger thank I want for swimming trunks. Pockets aren't deep, so don't plan on using the front ones for anything valuable. They worked for walking on the boardwalk and then playing in the ocean. I'm glad I got them.

ARDT: This Zero Xposure Hybrid Board Short is perfect! I am 44, 5'8", and I wear an 18W-20W. These shorts have a 6" inseam so they are great for me lengthwise. The other Zero Xposure Board Shorts have a 3" inseam, and although they are great, I like mine a little longer. These are very modest, but the are stylish and sporty too.
I need these for Aqua Therapy so I am pleased with the comfort and movement of the 4way stretch fabric. The fabric is lightweight and dries very quickly, as promised. The other Board Shorts have a zipper, tie and snap front. It is hard for me to tie with my left hand . These Hybrid Board Shorts have a zipper, snap and one of those slide clasps that men's dress slacks have. That is much easier for me. Plus, they are stretchy so I found I can pull them on and off without undoing the front.
The inside brief is stretchy, thin, and lightweight. It dries quickly as well.
I will order more. These are so great, stylish, and well made. I am very happy!

They fit snug on the waistline but are roomy in the rear for those of us who have “baggage” in the trunk. They wash well and never seem to fade.
