Casey Gellert: I like using these brushes. I bought the set for the rigger brush, and that worked very well on my piece. For synthetic brushes they get the job done. They still don't hold as much water as Sable brushes, but that's to be expected.

Bob: As a newcomer to watercolour painting I followed the lead of Bobbie Herron (artist). These are very practical, portable and much better than a very cheap unnamed brush. As BH suggests - less is more when it comes to brushes and colours - especially if you plan to create 'on the go'.

I have not given them to him due to the warning on the back; “This product contains chemicals, including DEHP, known to the State of California to cause Cancer and Birth Defects (or other reproductive harm). In the process of looking for natural wood or other brushes.
