Elise Helene: The colors are very bright and show up well on cookies and cakes. I prefer the kind of containers that come with a perforated top to facilitate shaking onto the baked items. These just have small holes and come out in big globs if you are not very careful. I tried to shake some into my hand and then used my index finger and thumb to sprinkle onto the cookies. A real shaker top is nicer.

Retired Early: I used the green to coat my Irish cream chocolate truffles for a St. Patrick's Day ice cream social. However, I didn't get that much in the jar and ended up making my own green sugar. It did make the truffles stand out.

AnnTaterAnnTater: Nice to have the Mardis Gras King Cake colors in one shaker with the bonus pink for Valentine's Day and Easter. I wish the green was a little deeper in color but I didn't get any complaints!
