Get the glove that pros trust - the WILSON A2000 series! Daniel: This 11.75" infielders glove is everything you'd expect - Wilson does a fantastic job building a glove that will last for years.
It's a bit uncomfortable at first, but after playing catch a couple times it molds to your hand pretty well. It's very hard to be good with the glove within the first few weeks of having it because the leather is so hard. You can catch the ball, but it's not as easy as when you have a glove that is broken in. I've had the glove for 3-4 months now, and it feels amazing. Its easy to catch, transfer, and field ground balls. The leather still holds a good rigid shape, but it's soft enough to be able to do all of the things you need to do.
I'm not in any competitive or rec leagues - I simply like playing catch and messing around with friends and family. Even though this glove has a hefty price tag, it's worth it in my opinion. Wilson does such a good job - it's incredibly satisfying to catch with this thing. It pops like no other glove I've used - sometimes if someone throws it hard enough it sounds like a fire cracker or pop gun.
All in all, even though you're spending ~$240 (I got mine for $240) it's worth it in my opinion. If you are...

Ed R. Cholmeley-Jones: My 12 year old, 125 lbs, 5 foot 3 inch son loves the glove. The glove is stiff when it arrives, but go on line and look how the pros loosen up a glove and make it a project with your son. We put boiling water all over the glove and beat the crap out of it with a mallet and it came out perfect. The glove rocks and my son snags every ball.

BlessedBee: Glove is amazing. A2000 is one of the most popular and iconic glove in baseball universe. This glove had awesome colour and unlike all other wilson gloves, this wilson glove laces are much thicker and better in quality. Maybe wilson is finally changing their crap laces to a better places. 11.75" is great middle ground for third base and short stop. Leather is wonderful and heelpad is adequate.
My glove arrived in time but unlike Rawlings gloves, which I also ordered from Amazon, they don't come in a separate wilson box nor have pocket protector plastic. I think I remember having my a2k and another old a2000 comes in a separate wilson box with wrappers or pocket protector. I was lucky it wasn't pancake folded. It just arrived in a regular amazon box without any plastic wrapping. Just a glove. I know all my rawlings gloves arrived in a separate rawlings box with pocket protector. A2k arrived with a wrapper at least. Maybe wilson is cutting cost by not wrapping it but giving you better laces? I don't know but I was quite disappointed by its "presentation". However the good news is it arrived without damages nor missing parts. All tags and keychain attached just as it should...

Gina Smith: Absolutely beautiful glove. Bought for my 14 year old catcher who was ecstatic to receive his first high end glove. Was very stiff upon arrival which was to be expected. He did not use any oil or cream as he prefers to break in his gloves by just using them. Was game ready after about 3 weeks of practices and daily use. In great condition after it's first season on the field.

John Holmes: This glove immediately caught my eye with the black and yellow color pattern (Pittsburgh Fan). I tried one on first at a local sporting goods store and loved the short finger stalls, which is worked well for my fat short fingers. The wrist strap needed adjustment but otherwise this fit's literally like a glove on my XL size hand. So many people in glove reviews go on and on about break in being difficult, and I've owned some that took a little longer than others to get ready but I'm a firm believer that no matter what you do: boil, microwave, soak, oil, car tire, mattress - you really can not hurt a ball glove. For this Wilson I used hot water, stretching, a glove wacker, and threw catch for an hour the first day. Copious amounts of Nokona Conditioner and a belt after it dried that night. I repeated the process for the next two days minus the hot water and was fielding grounders well by day three. Glove looks and plays beautifully and I'm very happy to add it to the pile in the garage.

Chad DiCocco: My 12 year old son is a catcher on a travel baseball team that travels extensively(75+ games per year). His Wilson A800 mitt had served its purpose catching 10-11u kids that throw 50-60mph. It’s a lower quality leather and wore out quickly. He was ready for a 33” glove but has small hands. I was also concerned about the weight of a bigger higher quality glove.
The Wilson A2000 PF33 “pedroia fit” was the perfect answer. It offers supreme leather quality plus its designed for a “12-15 year old player” that might have smaller hands. In addition the back of the glove is Wilson’s super skin leather. It’s a lighter more flexible leather that reduces the overall weight of the glove. It also make for an extremely comfortable fit on the hand.
Make no mistake about it...it will take a little while to break in due to the high grade leather Wilson uses in this glove. The thumb support/protection on this model is supreme. He is currently catching high school pitchers in our off season who throw in the 80’s. He loves how it protects his palm and thumb. The pitchers love the crack it makes when he catches them.
This glove will last years. His hand will likely outgrow...

BlueberryPi: Like many, I've tried cheaper gloves and I never found one that was comfortable enough to wear for more than a few minutes. As soon as I put this on though, even straight out of the bag, it felt like it fit me perfectly (I have large man sized hands too).
It takes a little breaking in, but I could use it very quickly after playing catch a few times. Quality is literally perfect and I've no doubt it will last many years.

another crazy customeranother crazy customer: Was already catching about 80% of the throws made on the first session playing catch. This is my son’s first “adult” size “professional” gloves. He’s broken in half a dozen youth model Rawlings and Wilson gloves since T-Ball. This spring will be his second season playing player pitch and maybe he will begin using it in 2019 or maybe he will wait until 2020 to begin using this glove, but I expect he’ll eventually begin using this glove after it gets broken in and he becomes confident with it while on the mound.
Update: He’s used if for a couple of seasons now. Everything is still working fine. We have had discussions about getting a new glove. Not sure if it will make it through a complete third season. But we might try.
Final Update November 2020: This glove is still good to game with, but we have replaced it with another Wilson A2000.
