Geo: Upon arrival, like most good quality gloves, the leather was very stiff. However, it has been a pleasure to break in. It just got more and more comfortable with each day of break-in and play. I wouldn't buy this glove used; make sure to get it new so it forms perfectly to your hand. It took me about 3 weeks of daily play and using break-in techniques to get it the way I like. Get it!

Justin J.: I have had this glove for about a month and a half and I love it. I used the hot water, mallet treatment the first day and have been throwing a ball into it daily. It is now broken in nicely and feels like it was made for my hand.

It does take work to break it in but I consider it fun. It serves the same purpose as a stress ball for me.

If your kid is having trouble breaking it in, just get him a ball and have him spend an hour a day while watching TV throwing the ball into it. It is very cathartic.
