Sven D.: Den Nunchuk Controller habe ich zusammen mit einem WII Motion Plus Controller gekauft.
Beide sind oft im Einsatz und funktionieren seit 2011 ohne Probleme oder Ausfälle von Tasten.
Das ist mal ein Paradebeispiel dafür, dass es auch ohne geplante Obsolenz geht. Danke für so ein qualitativ hochwertiges und nachhaltiges Produkt zu einem fairen Preis.

carolinaautoguy: This controller is a necessary evil and works fine, several games require both the Wii Plus and Nunchuk to control them. You can look on the games at the top right corner of the back of the packaging to see which controllers are necessary. There should be an outline of the controller that is required. AGAIN: This controller may be necessary to play some games.

Kids will master the control in about 5 seconds, adults may never figure it out. I guess it could teach kids to be ambidextrous, which is probably good.

The Nunchuk controller requires the standard Wii or Wii plus controller to work.
The nearly 3 foot cable coming from the Nunchuk is inserted into the Wii controller.
Make sure you have enough Wii controllers before you buy more Nunchuks as they will not work on their own.
No Batteries are required for the Wii Nunchuk, it is powered by the Wii controller.
The Nunchuk has a thumb toggle and 2 push buttons.
There is no leash for the Nunchuk, so be careful when slinging it around.
The shape is contoured and the size seems to work for small children and adults.
The top is glossy and the bottom is textured for grip.

Gman: The nunchuck is a necessary added control for some games and adds additional dimension and complexity that I find challenging.

However, this controller isn't very sturdy and can easily break, internally. The Nintendo originals will last longer than a knock-off. Buyer beware, if you are looking to save some money and go for the cheap models, you will find that they are knock-offs and often labeled as a Mii (Chinese) and not a Wii by Nintendo, but you won't see this until you get the product.

I agree with another reviewer that it seems the manufacturer, Apple, is producing a remote with a short lifecycle and makes money off the replacement parts. This isn't just limited to Wii manufacturer, because I have a similar problem with PS2 controllers.

The problem seems to be centered on the joystick portion of controllers. Store them carefully and remind yourself that the stick will only go so far and pushing harder will not yield any further action on the screen, but results in breaking the remote.

Puzzle crazy: The oddly named Wii Nunchuk is an extention controller that plugs into the Wii remote, the main controller for Wii games. Many games can be played perfectly well without the Nunchuk, but for others, this controller is essential, and adds an extra dimension to gameplay. When you buy the Wii, you are supplied with one remote and one Nunchuk. Therefore, if two people want to play the games, they need at least another remote, but if the game requires a Nunchuk, they will need to buy one of those too, as they are not sold together with the remotes (very clever, Nintendo!).

The product itself is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand comfortably, and has a thumb operated joysick on the top and two buttons at the front, where you place your index and middle fingers respectively. Your other two fingers curl underneath the curved underside of the Nunchuk in a "trigger" position. The Nunchuk is very lightweight and comfortable to hold in the hand. There is a wire running from the bottom of the Nunchuk which has a connector at the end that slots into the bottom of the Wii remote. T. Black: I just got a couple of these when the price dropped to around 15. They were sold by 'direct distributor' and fulfilled by amazon. The packages included the nunchuck and a blue silicone skin.

When I got them, I was concerned that they weren't genuine since I expected them to be manufactured by Nintendo. I inspected one and it looked identical to the one that came with the system (didn't compare the cord length), but I figure it is easy enough to copy the few details on the device. Since these are made by BD&A (I forget the exact name, something Deutch & Associates), I wondered if the Nintendo Genuine logo was a counterfeit. I called Nintendo at 9pm on a Sunday night, and amazingly someone answered! To my surprise, she was quite knowledgeable and helped me determine that the BD&A nunchucks have in fact been certified. She told me that they spend a lot of time testing these and warned against non-certified ones, especially those who steal power from the remote. Since I have had nothing but bad luck with 3rd party controllers in the past, that was preaching to the choir.

Sally: I got tired of the original "white" nunchuck, so while getting my newest black wii remote I also decided to purchase a new black nunchuck to go with it. The two items together look great!! Much better than having plain old white like I used to have.

Also, there are cheaper nunchucks on here that are knock offs (in other words, Nintendo did not make them. A third party did). After my experience with knock offs I recommend you ALWAYS buy Nintendo brand products. Even though it may appear to be exactly as the original, save your money and always buy the original if you want your product to function the way it should and last a few years, rather than a few hours. I purchased mine "used" and it works as if it were brand new. This goes to show that when Nintendo themselves makes a product, you can guarantee it will last a long time. I myself would purchase a used Nintendo product, over a new third party knock off any day because I have had my experience once with that already. I learned from that mistake.

Overall, if you are looking for a black nunchuck, then purchase this one!
