A.D.S.: This blade worked great for cutting my marble bathroom vanity top. I had to cut through about 1 inch of marble for about 4 feet. I took it slow and dripped water on the blade as I cut.

Just like cutting wood, if you want the finished cut to look good you need to sand. I bought separate daimond sanding pads to polish the cut marble.

L. Olson: This blade has a 1 inch arbor hole which I did notice when I purchased and processed a return under Amazon's generous terms. When looking fir a replacement blade I found DeWalt made a 1 inch to 5/8ths adaptor and that exactly fit my Dewalt 12 inch sliding compound miter saw.
With the adapter the blade fits perfectly I canceled the return. Made 1 cut in 2 inch stone 12 inches wide and the cut edge was close to perfect and was as good as the factory edges. Hard to tell longevity from one cut, but the blade looks like new. I have great expectations for this blade and would expect it to outlast the projects I have in mind for it. Suspect this blade should cost about $90 in the big box stores and it woukd be special order, so the Amazon price and delivery time is very good

Patrick H. PatinPatrick H. Patin: I needed to remove an old outdoor grill insert and install a new one but the cutout dimensions were different by 2 inches wide. So, I bought this blade to cut out the stone to make room for the new grill insert. Now, I gave this 4 stars because while technically it did the job but the blade is now worthless and can't be used again. That may have been my fault because the description says light to medium duty. I'm guessing this was a heavy duty job.

The stone I needed to cut was 3 inches thick (sandstone) and I needed to cut 2 lines 2 feet long each. The blade performed wonderfully on the first cut. But a quarter through the 2nd cut the blade stopped cutting. It was overheating. I let it sit for 30 minutes and cooled it off with water then let it set another hour. When I went back to cutting it was taking about 10 seconds per millimeter distance. So, the last foot and a half took about an hour of excessive pushing and elbow grease. I finally gave up about 2 inches from the end and just chiseled the rest off. Attached are pictures of the stone I was cutting.
