When we feed our dog this, she literally jumps up and down, all four paws off the ground! She is so excited for it. We were feeding her this initially because she was having some jaw issues and we had to hand feed her wet food. Her jaw issues have mostly gone away, but she loves it so much we now use it as a food topper. It's expensive, but how can we say no when she loves it that much?

Our dogs LOVE this food & it keeps them happy and healthy. We have had three Standard Poodles, and all of them have been given this (after puppy food), from the start. One of them wouldn't eat just anything. This is his absolute staple. Standards can have allergies; not with this food. Until recently we purchased from our local Feed store, but for whatever reason, they no longer stock it. Thanks to Amazon, I can order it and obtain in a day.

I've searched for quite some time for a pet food for puppies that was nutritionally balanced, without containing lots of fillers and extra content just to create volume. Wellness Puppy is a 5 star food on all fronts. I've never had any issues with this product and my dogs both love it. This product is manufactured in the United States. The west coast based facility tends to make the food a bit dryer than the east coast based facility. Both smell the exact same. You will see a "gelatin" type substance in the can when you open it. Typically it's along the sides of the food. The substance is not "fat". It's very much like any food (think of canned soups like Chili) that separate after being on a shelf for a bit. Simply stick a fork in the can and stir it back up. It's just fine. For specific details on contents and health aspects, do a quick google search. I highly recommend this product to people with puppies.
