WeeSprout Reusable Food Pouches with Double Zipper Closure

Amazon Customer: These pouches are awesome for my kids’ smoothies. It takes a bit to get used to filling and closing them without the contents coming out. I reached out to customer service to let them know and they were very kind to send me a funnel and the 7oz pouches to try out. They even reached out afterwards to make sure I received them. They really make sure you’re taking care of. 5 stars ⭐️ for both product and service!!

Since I wrote my review a couple of weeks ago I have been nothing but impressed with WeeSprout's customer service team. Following my review the company reached out and apologized for the experience I had with the product and automatically issued a full refund. Today in the mail I received a handwritten (!!!) card from WeeSprout, again apologizing for my experience with their product and also giving me helpful tips on how to wash the pouches in the future. I do believe we may have received just a couple of faulty pouches (the seals seemed to collect food no matter how we tried to clean it--and we clean them exactly how WeeSprout recommends AND we never let food sit in them overnight or anything!), but no matter the cause WeeSprout has really gone above and beyond with their customer service. It's SO refreshing to see a company who takes the time to read customer complaints and address them to the full extent. Bravo WeeSprout! I will remain a loyal customer and continue to recommend your product to friends and family. Thank you for being such a breath of fresh air.

Everything my son eats is homemade, plus I don't do single use plastics, so there's no way I'd ever have bought the grocery store pouches, but once my son decided he no longer wanted us to spoon feed him anything, these pouches gave him a way to feed himself yogurt and purees without making a giant mess. They're also the cleanest and easiest way to give him something to eat in the car (unless someone's sitting next to him to hand him individual Cheerios).

The WeeSprout pouches were always easy to fill, but I usually ended up with at least a little to clean up on each pouch before I got the funnel included with this set. My first thought when I saw the funnel included in the listing was that it was unnecessary because I could just use a regular funnel, but then I realized that the thickness of purees would mean it would take forever for the food to pour through a regular funnel. The one that comes with this set is perfect. My only complaint is that the only size pouch you can get a funnel with is the 7 oz. 7 oz pouches are really big for my son. FTOFTO: **UPDATE on my original 4-star review **
I was contacted by the company inquiring about my reported issue and they promptly sent me a set of the 7oz pouches to try out. They indicated that if they could not achieve a five-star rating from the product, they were going to earn it with their customer service. I will say that I did not give them the 5th star because they chose to send me the larger package to try out, but because the product itself really does rate 5 stars. The 7oz package does give me the extra space I needed to get a full serving in for my son, but I also found that I can toss in a couple of ice cube size portions right into the pouch and by the time I need it, I have a perfectly portioned pouch. My original 4-star rating was because I couldn't fit in the portion that I needed without the contents squirting out before I could zip it close, but everything else about the product was fantastic. I have used the founder's tip to fill it up until the grass line and that has helped tremendously. I've included an image of both the 5oz and 7oz pouches filled with the same amount. While the 5oz requires you to squeeze it tightly to close, the 7oz pouch fits it...

AwillsAwills: UPDATE: 4 Months later, these little pouches are still going strong. The company commented on my review and offered the suggestion of washing the pouches with a baby bottle brush, which strangely had not occurred to me. They also wanted to ensure I was happy with the product, which I assured them I was, despite the staining and not quite being able to fit exactly what I wanted to. The customer service at this company is amazing. They truly do seem to care and they want you to be happy with their products. Do to the small issue of staining and size, they offered to replace with the larger size if I wanted to try. I was honestly not expecting this. Great customer service deserves to be recognized. I will definitely order more (since my initial review, I have re-ordered myself).

I think these are a great for kids who love squeeze packets. They're excellent for eating on the go. I have used them for baby food, yogurt and applesauce. I was looking for one that would be easy to clean. These are dishwasher safe but I'm not sure how clean they actually get in the dishwasher. Krysta HarderKrysta Harder: Took me a while to write this cause I bought two kinds, and wanted to really use the product first.
1) really is dishwasher safe and freezer safe! But always pre-rinse.
2) zippers are a little finicky to open and close, but they stay very securely shut once closed. These ones are easier to open than the square kind at a similar price point on Amazon.
3) I made a bunch of steamed foods and then puree'd different combinations to fill the pouches with to freeze. I froze left-over purée in snack-sized ziplock bags, for easy insertion later on (just leave a little space at one side of the ziplock so it's not too long to close in the pouch) the square design of the other brand of pouches works best for this, but if you just leave a 1 inch gap at one side of the baggies, it'll work with these ones too. I usually just smash it up and stick the chunks in the pouch instead.

4) fits about three pre-frozen ice cubes if tossing baby food together on-the go. It would fit 4 once thawed.
5) my 8-10 month old (that's how old he is, so I can't speak for older kids) loves these. He latched on like its milk-time and just drains the whole pouch, even when I fill it with veggies he...

I have a 4 year old son who has some learning difficulties, one of his things is that he hates any type of "wet" food, the feeling of it can make him physically sick. This made it very hard for us to get him to eat his 5 a day and normally only managed to sneak it into his sauses(which he also didnt like the feel of!!)
after trying just blending the fruit and veggies we decided it was still not working as he saw me making it one day. he has always liked the yoghurt pouches that look simlar to these so as soon as they came in he was asking for some. the day after i trialled them one with ham/pee/veg soup and the other with banana and kiwi all blended. that half of his 5 a day and he had all of it in one sitting along with his usual protein biscuits.
For me this is a huge blessing knowing that i can now send him to playschool with a couple of these and he will be able to have a healthy snack with he other kids, and he will now grow well.
this is such a simple idea and is fantastic for out and about with a weaning toddler and i imagine that a lot of parents with picky eaters such as myself will find this very useful. it hides what the food looks like...

Iheartamazon: When my ten month old started showing an interest in eating / sucking on pouch foods himself, I bought these to fill with home made smoothies and purees. What I've been super impressed with is the amazing customer service. Within a day of placing the order, the co-founder, Liz, emailed me to thank me for the purchase and to let her know if there were any issues or if I had feedback. When I received the order, I tried them out right away and noticed that the white caps had little plastic parts on the seal that seemed to break when I tightened it. I also overfilled it so it squished out the bottom when I tried to seal it. And I found the 5oz size to be too small as my frozen food pucks I make are 2.5oz each and trying to squish two of them into one pouch wasn't really working.
I sent that feedback to Liz and she responded within a few hours to thank me for the feedback and assure me the caps have a security seal and are identical to the caps on the disposable pouches you buy in the grocery store (so we can use those lids as well) and that the plastic bits breaking off are totally normal and can be used again and again. She also offered to send me two packages of the larger 7oz...
