Joe P.Joe P.: These were an exact replacement for the OEM flavorizer bars and it also restored the even heat distribution of the originals. Seems to be the same gauge or very close to it, but being stainless steel I expect them to last a lot longer. One of the nice things is that it restored the even heating distribution that was lost as the original bars lost their integrity. When I went to clean the originals I found holes throughout one bar that was my primary spot on the grill and because of them found hot spots that worked with. When I went to ensure all the oil was off and ran the grill up to about 550f/277c there was no oil burn off. No color change. They stayed the silver stainless steel color. After my first grilling today found that even cooking heat was return to the grill. I used the listings picture for the inside of my grill as that is exactly how it looked after installation. Extremely happy. Thanks.
