I was able to assemble this on my own with the materials provided. It was packaged really well. It finishes off my room nicely.

Customer S.Customer S.: I bought "used like new" at a considerable discount. The shelves arrived damaged but since they matched my furniture, and the splits were on the joints, I decided to repair it myself.
Overall, because I purchased at a great discount I am still happy with the shelf. It isn't wobbly and has a good weight to it. However, if I had purchased at full priced I would have been upset and returned the item.

Robin ElliottRobin Elliott: I'm very happy with this book shelf. It's exactly as expected and looks great in the spot I chose for it.
The shelves aren't made of wood - they're resin - but I knew that and I'm fine with it. They definitely look like wood and that's what matters most to me. It went together extremely fast and easy.
I didn't end up using the wall brace because I don't have young children and my cats are well behaved. LOL. Plus... My floor molding keeps the unit from laying flush against the wall so the wall brace really won't function for me.
I'm very please with this purchase!

UnknownAsAlways: The assembly was easy, but!!!! Two of the shelves were broken at the back. I was in a rush and really needed it so can’t return it. Suggestion is please store / wrap ur products better. The design is nice, it is a shame that it gets ruined liked this.

Worf's Baby MamaWorf's Baby Mama: There are some reviewers who seem to be shocked these are not real wood. For this price, of course they're not real wood! They don't feel like real wood but it does look like real wood if you're not examining too closely.

I bought two and set them up myself in about 30 minutes.

They are sturdy. I was not able to secure them to the wall because I have a baseboard and an additional lip from the hardwood floors that prevents the shelves from sitting flush against the wall. I am not concerned these will fall over. There are no children or pets to knock into things and these do not rock unevenly on the floor.
