i paid WAY too much for this 6 ok of walden farms choc. syrup. ($50). that’s because it was advertised as the old version (gold top label)—so hard to find and way better taste. unfortunately, the new version (green top label) was delivered & one of the bottles, shattered. what a mess!!

È uno degli sciroppi zero cal migliori in commercio, come sapore, poco "chimico" e molto cioccolatoso. Unica cosa: la bottiglia non ha un tappo dosatore ma il prodotto si versa quindi a mio parere si rischia di usarne troppo

I bought the Walden Farms chocolate syrup to add flavor to a number of things on my diet. I often make a meal replacement shake with some non-fat milk and some whey protein (unflavored). When I add the Walden Farms syrup, the mixture yields a chocolate shake with a consistency that approaches a real milkshake, but without the carb/ sugar load and with a reasonable amount of calories.
For an 8-ounce shake, a teaspoon of the syrup is about right. I just use a shaker, not a blender.
Although I don't eat a lot of ice cream, this syrup works for ice cream as well. It will freeze on the surface of the ice cream, creating a chocolate crust that is interesting.
I also expect that this syrup would be good with strawberries. I might have to make a strawberry-chocolate protein shake and give it a try!

If you want a thicker syrup then place this in the refrigerator before you open it as the first time it pours thinly. Love the taste of this much better than others. It does not have an aftertaste like some of the other syrups of this type. Love it mixed in with Greek yogurt, and as a topping for ice cream or frozen yogurt. Mixes well for hot chocolate made with almond milk!

By far the best Walden Farms product I've tried...makes a great chocolate milk! It is calorie free, carb free, sugar free, blah blah so if you expect it to taste exactly like chocolate syrup you will be disappointed - but it does taste darn close and you get used to it. Be careful when pouring it out - it is watery and before you know it 1/2 the bottle will be gone!
