M.Evans: I’m a fan of W H AUDEN and it’s full of poems.

Stephen R. Tod: This is such a handy collection of Auden's own hand picked greatest poems. I wish he had included every one that his devotees believed was great, but his selection process is entirely his own, and not for us to question.

Abyasun: Nice book. I was always a fan Auden’s poetry. The book was in good shape. I’m happy to buy it.

Caleb Murdock: This is a very big book that you get for the price. It has all of Auden's poetry in it. I had no idea that Auden was so prolific, and no idea that so much of his poetry was so uninteresting. It seems that Auden just had a great need to write, and so he wrote constantly. My advice is: Unless you are especially in love with Auden, buy a book of his best selected works. No one needs this much Auden.

I'm giving the book five stars because of the good value that the book is.

Sandra McKinley: This review is all about the state of the book, not the content. The content is fine, and exactly what I wanted. However, the book was delivered in a bag, not a box. The cover was kind of bent and some of the pages. Also, some of the pages were stuck together at the back - no idea what caused that. ... Might return.

The deep URMUTTERFURCHT that drives/Us into knowledge all our lives […] To civilise and to create, DAS WEIBLICHE […] And I was conscious of my guilt.

Amazon Customer: When I ordered the book I didn't realise the copy would be such an extensive collection. This is great for anyone looking to have some of the best of Auden's work in one book. Special mention definitely goes to Browser's Haven who made sure the book is delivered to me within 3 days of my order.

Justus Jost: This is a great selection that contains many of Auden's best poems. The layout and the introduction are great as well.
I did, however, miss my personal favourite "The More Loving One". In my opinion a poem that should be part of every W.H. Auden collection...
