Meghan: We bought this to be a small beer fridge in our basement.

What we love:
- It's pretty quiet and the temperature control is very consistent
- It's low profile and sleek
- It has a lighting option
- Displays the temp to you

What could be better:
- The light has to be turned on manually — which also means that if you forgot to turn it off because your hands are full of beer, it's just on until the next time you visit the beer fridge.
- The buttons where you adjust temp, turn on the light, etc. are a little flimsy feeling. Sometimes you have to hit them twice to make them work.
- The door doesn't have that satisfying "click" feeling that lets you know it's securely closed, making it easy to not totally close it. It doesn't have an alarm if you don't successfully close the door, so we've accidentally left it cracked before.
- We thought there would be more room, but the bottom shelf has a pretty big indent where the compressor lives, so it actually isn't quite as spacious as we were thinking.

Overall, it's a good deal for the money. But next time we'd probably upgrade a little so we could have something that better fits growlers/multiple...

Matthew N. Brousseau: Cosmetically they nailed it. However, advertising this as having a "whisper-quiet compressor" is false advertising. It's got a pretty annoying humming when it's running and the compressor is on a lot of the time. Also, I have the fridge set at it's lowest temp setting of 34°F and the top shelf of the fridge reads a temp of 39°F while the bottom shelf of the fridge reads a temp of 32°F on my thermometers so the fan doesn't do a super job of circulating the air even though I followed the manual's recommendation of leaving space in the back to allow proper air flow. I've had to up the temp to 36°F on the fridge to prevent cans from freezing on the bottom because of this but that also increases the temp at the top shelf which isn't ideal. Also, the temp and light LED control panel is a cool idea in theory but it takes up extra space at the top of the fridge which limits your storage capacity and with limited shelf adjustment height options it's a bigger deal than you may think. Ideally this should be built into the door or something to avoid this issue and so you can turn on the LED light or adjust the temp without needing to open the fridge. Overall it's decent but I'm not blown...

I added one extra star. Technically I'd rate this fridge 4.5 stars out of 5. After contacting customer support and sending the photos, they determined that my fridge was probably defective and sent out a new fridge to me. I had to take care of disposing the old fridge. Customer support was excellent in how they handled the ticket. The fridge is shipped in a way where there is no way to ship it back. I thought the box was damaged the first time it was shipped but after getting the second fridge, the box was the same way. Once the restraint cords are cut, the box can be lifted up from the base to reveal the fridge.

The issue with the new fridge is that the temp drops well below 32 degrees. My NSF certified thermostat showed 30 degrees or less (down to 28 degrees) when setting it to 32, this was within 72 hours of turning it on and setting it to the lowest setting. With two dozen cans of soda in the fridge, this sometimes causes all the sodas to freeze. Ironically, my 1 liter bottles of water do not freeze. To prevent the temp from dropping below 32 degrees, I would have to maximize the entire fridge with sodas so that the cold air isn't circulating...
