cheryl pelletier: I was about to buy my sister Nikon binoculars like mine when a friend recommended Vortex, I checked them out, liked the weight and size for her. She will use them for bird and nature watching, sometimes while walking, so size and weight were important. Of course, the lens matters most and we were both super impressed with the quality of view through the lens. While out on a puffin cruise, birds were very clear and the field of view very good.

Robert Shaw: We have been using a 8 X 28 which works well for us on most outings. On a recent trip to Monterey we saw a pod of humpback whales feeding from our motel and having a additional binocular to watch would have been nice. Ordered this pair because the price was even lower than we paid for the original set. Very happy with size and the optical quality of these Vortex Diamondbacks.

Kendall: Bought a Nikon M7 10x42 for the family and was concerned about the weight for my daughter. So, got this and extremely happy. I'm not a binocular guru so not getting into the technicals. Just saying they are great and actually hold up fairly well against the M7s. Larger FOV, better brightness, etc on the M7 but these 10x32 are no slouches at all. Get em if you want something very good and lightweight for the price.

Amazon Customer: First; delivery was the worst! Out for delivery while I was on vacation and excited to receive them for sightseeing. Come to find out, they weren’t out for delivery as stated on the app. I cancelled the order and lost out on the sightseeing event.
The binoculars, after reordering, we’re awesome! High quality and smooth operation. Eye cups, center focus and size were perfect for me. I got the 10X32. Bright and clear, but it was the quality of the product that impressed me. They’re not something you might want for backpacking but they’re small enough to notice the difference from a large pair. They’re the perfect midsized binocular at a very reasonable price. Happy customer for the Vortex binocular but very displeased with the Amazon promise to deliver on time!

Kicking Jack Williams: Solid construction, a good portable size for birding and general use. Optics are quite good. A little chromatic aberration in strong backlight, but really not bad at all. Mechanics solid At the price point, weight, and with the replacement gurantee I keep them strapped on my normal field bag, and don't worry much about them as I would for an IS set or more spendy binoculars. The best binoculars are the ones you have with you. Recommended.
