GG: With the help of some light I can see things at night. I.E. skylines, planes flying overhead, license plates, some stars. True Night Vision comes with a much higher price tag. You're not getting it at a price point below $100.
A few reviewers mentioned they didn't want to lose the cover for the eyepiece. I strung the included wrist strap through it and tied a knot so it wouldn't slip off.
It's light. It's clear. It's super smooth to focus. If you can't get this to focus, you don't have fingers.
The sticker on the street lamp which is approximately 2 stories overhead says "24 LED" The box on the utility pole has "Western Electric" etched in it. That rooftop just above the tree line is a school building 4 1/2 city blocks away looking through a screen window. There's a weathervane on it and can clearly see the eagle with it's wings spread, W, E, and the arrow pointing North by Northwest. At this distance there was a noticeable shake and I had to use two hands to stabilize.
The minimum distance I've been able to focus is approximately 12-13 feet. How far can you see? I watched a plane take off, followed it and put the monocular down for a wink while looking at the sky and...

BrianBrian: I was needing a new monocular to take bowhunting after my $11 10x25 one fell apart after many years of reliable service. I don't like binoculars and I always seem to have trouble adjusting them for both eyes thus usually end up using only one side anyway. This way I save weight and bulk.

This 12x50 Vivreal monocular is in my opinion an amazing value. Although significantly larger than my old unit, this still fits in the pocket of my hunting jacket, is easy to hold and focus one-handed, and the 50mm lens gathers a good amount of light and provides a decent field of view. The image is clear and crisp.

I wasn't looking for or wanting the included tripod and smartphone attachment, but after playing around with them I'm very glad they were included. The tripod legs are flexible, making it very easy to adjust and steady the camera and the smartphone adapter attaches and unattached in seconds.

The attached photos were taken on a dreary overcast Michigan morning. They were taken of a salt block 22 yards from my sofa through a closed glass door. The first pic is with no phone magnification, then 2x, 3x, 5x and finally 8x - my phone's camera's max zoom. So with the...

Dan Wolf: For less than $30, this cannot be beat. This is a surprisingly great monocular for the money. Very lightweight, but it seems well made and the materials feel substantial. It fits very comfortably in my hand, and most importantly the image is very clear and bright. Magnification is strong - you can easily see detail on birds and animals from a hundred yards away. Even the craters of the moon look sharp.

Shipment was fast and product is packaged nicely. The vinyl carrying case, lens covers and wrist strap are nice touches (the front lens cover flips open and closed; you need to loop the wrist strap through the rear lens cover to keep it attached).

The only drawback is the smartphone holder which is practically unusable (at least with my iPhone 7), and seems to be an afterthought (it is not depicted on the box the instructions do not even mention it). But, I did not buy this monocular to take pictures so it's not a big deal and does not affect my 5 star rating.

RP709: I took a chance using this as a spotting scope for my local range, turns out that's probably not its intended use. The description and reviews sold me though and its already on the way back after one days use. Now I'm not saying it's all bad, it has some nice qualities like one hand focus, overall size makes it a great range bag fit, the mini tripod is nice too, even the little phone adapter is a neat little attachment. The build quality while lightweight is decent and the optics are as well to a certain range and that's my problem with it. I shot this at 50 yards, no problem seeing hits on reactive targets, at 100 yards it gets worse when on plain paper its almost impossible to see hits, it's a bit better on reactive targets if you have good eyes you can pick up standouts but groups are hard to see. Knowing it had already been pushed to the limit I tried the phone mount at 200 yards, somehow it got even worse, probably because it couldn't make out the target in general, if I hadn't set the target I wouldn't have known where it was. So it's not a great spotting scope and unfortunately I'm not a bird watcher. Returned
