AM Kipp: I came across this brand a few years ago, in search of products for my husband’s beard. I’ll never buy anything else! One of the major things, most beard balms and washes have tea tree oil; this doesn’t. Very important because my husband is allergic to it. The smell is amazing on both of these, nice and not too strong.

Tom.PogoTom.Pogo: Odeur 🟠 : L'odeur est assez particulière , mangue apparemment moi je sens plutôt le citron, mais pas le citron agréable , au premier abord ca me fait penser au nettoyant plastique pour voiture citronné qu'on trouve dans le commerce , puis au final après quelques jours l'odeur n'est pas si désagréable et on se met à l'apprécier

Texture 🟠 : La texture est clairement trop fluide une fois en main ... la même texture qu'une huile donc pas ce que l'on attend d'un baume

Fixation 🔴 : Forcément de part la texture huileuse du produit , niveau fixation c'est zéro , si vous avais une barbe rebelle comme la mienne alors celle ci ne sera absolument pas maintenue en place

Tenue 🟢 : La tenue est plutôt positive , une fois la journée de travail passé vous ressente encore les effets positif du baume , hydratations et odeur .

Composition 🟢 : Gros plus pour ce baume , j'ai pour habitude de chercher les compositions sur des sites de test indépendant mais la , introuvable si je me fie donc aux infos données par le fabricant , c'est un sans faute !

Emballage🔴 : Bon l'emballage c'est sympa ça rajoute un coté produit fini mais...

David M. Wenning: This is the fourth beard balm I've tried, and the one I'll be sticking with. I have actual Viking blood mixed with Saxon. That has provided me a blond, now graying beard that is almost impossible to control, unruly, frizzy, curly and riddled with cowlicks. It's also prone to becoming a greasy, matted down mess if I'm not careful. This is the first beard balm I've tried that has actually gotten it under control. And I don't look like I've been smeared with Crisco. The cowlicks were my worst problem, and they have almost disappeared.

I've tried every combination, applying it damp or dry, with or without beard oil, and this is what works for me:

I use it after a shower while the beard is still a bit damp. I scoop my little glob, add three drops of beard oil and mix them between my palms. Then I rub it on and comb it in. The dampness and oil helps get it evenly distributed. I let it sit a moment while I do other things, then brush it with the blow dryer on low air and low heat just a little. That step gets the cowlicks under control, leaving just a little waviness which is OK. At first, it will look a little oily, but that settles down within an hour. Then one more...

I hereby call this meeting of the Brotherhood of Beardlyness to order. As you know I've tried over a dozen beard balms/pastes/waxes looking for one that was right for me. Well, the search is over. This product meets my daily beard balm needs. No, that's not true. It vastly exceeds them. It isn't too greasy, it's not too pasty, it's literally just right. Soft and supple, it quickly warms up in the hands, allowing me to massage it in to my medium length beard. It transfers to the beard and easily washes off the hands. It has an amazingly pleasing scent. It doesn't overpower, and it enhances my other skin/hair care products. (I use an aftershave and a conditioner that is on the menthol / eucalyptus end of the scent spectrum. I've got a thick mustache that I like to turn up at the sides, so I wanted to offer a word of caution. This balm doesn't hold the curls, so when I'm in full steampunk regalia, I'll balm the beard and then use a wax for the 'stache. I'll mow the lawn, spend time in the salt air, go camping, be days without a shower or conditioner, and when I clean up, this balm brings me back to tip top condition in one application.
