anon: VERY HEAVY DUTY PRISON GUARD BELT CLASP but very very tiny tiny tiny chain- 1.5 mm Spectra cord would be far stronger than this chain! Its like they had two very opposing teams designing this product-belt one with absolute focus on sturdiness, the other-chain- team seeking absolute minimalism. For 3 decades I have LOVED your knives and own MANY, but this experiment went wrong.

banana banana: Carabiner as keychain was chewing up belt loops on my fancy suit pants, so picked up this thing. Looks and works like new after months of constant use.

The tolerance is a bit tight and there isn't much of a leading edge on the back portion so I find myself putting it on with two hands, but that might just be because my belts are very thin? I'm generally a reasonably coordinated person of average strength, so thought that was a little odd, but not a big deal.

It removes easily with one hand and looks far more upscale than the vehicle, office, or person associated with it. Even seems like it's going to hold up better than the attached Victorinox Rambler.

Howard H Glastetter: I use the longer chain to attach and detach various keys when I do yard work. It would be useful to have a device at the end of the long chain to slip keys on and off as needed. However, most people - including me -have these end hooks available that can be easily added.

Dallas Music Lover: I love this thing, i wear it everyday. you don't have to remove your belt to put it on. it slides onto your belt, and then you clip it down securely, like someone else said, you could actually clip it to your waistband, or even your back pocket. this has the added benefit of allowing it to be easily removable should you go to the courthouse, airport, or other security check point.

the main chain is about 18" long, the secondary is 4". the secondary chain has a clip at the end that opens and closes. the main chain has a strong, solid steel O-ring, the type that you find on key chains. the chains are very strong and solid, will definitely not fail if there's a tough jerk on it. a bit heavy, but not bad at all, the chains collapse nicely in the pocket and don't take up as much space in the pocket as you would initially expect. The main chain is designed so you don't have to take it off to drive your car. it is the perfect length to reach your ignition, as well as your front door.

The belt clip itself is very nice. it's solid steel, shiny, and bears the Victorinox crest. there is faint etching that you can barely see that says, "Victorinox Swiss Made." The steel is just...
