I must’ve given at least a dozen of these to security staff through the years after forgetting that it was on my keychain. Unfortunately, I cannot go one day without needing this vital tool, so I order a new one every time. Maybe buy a few just in case?

Zachary G. Robbins: After having a Rambler for the last few years, I have no idea why the Classic SD is Victorinox's most popular product. The Rambler is clearly superior. It is fractionally wider and heavier with one additional, very useful tool. The Phillips/bottle opener/wire stripper combo tool.

Is the wire stripper on this type of lightweight SAK useless? Yes. Is the bottle opener necessary? Probably not. It is functional, it will work in a pinch, but it is harder to use compared to the dozens of other bottle openers you may already have on your keychain and in your backpack. Is the in-line Phillips #0/1 a huge improvement on using the small flathead? Yes. This alone makes the Rambler a lot more useful to carry than the Classic, and I think blogs/YouTubers/Victorinox should stop pushing all of these Classic SD scale variants and start pushing the Rambler.

Charles Ingoglia: As usual, genuine Swiss Army Knives are high quality. This one replaces the one that I lost off my key ring. These Rambler pocket knives are just the right size for key rings. It is difficult finding small pocket knives that include a beer bottle opener. Hopefully, I will have this one for a long time.

Daniel E. Pearson: I've been using keychain knives for probably 20 years, and this is the best that I've come across. I've had other popular keychain multi-tools from other brands like Leatherman and Gerber, and those always break. The quality of this tool surpasses anything that Leatherman or Gerber put out.

The weight is minimal and so is the size, so it's easy to forget that it's on your keychain. The other brands seem to have a few more tools, but they're a little bit more bulky and the weight is more. Speaking of other tools, this is probably all you need to keep on your keychain. You got to ask yourself how often you're really going to use the micro pliers on other brands...probably not often and it wouldn't be preferred over a good pair of needle, nose pliers or a full-size multi-tool.

The knife on this is incredibly sharp, the Philips screwdriver is solid and doesn't twist or bend, and the toothpick is a lifesaver when you are out at a restaurant and inevitably get a small piece of food stuck in your teeth.

This is definitely the keychain multi-tool you want, regardless of price.

Col04: These knives are so useful.
My first was a Manager, which I keep with my car keys. I often forgot it when I didn't need my car keys so I bought another. My second is a Mini Champ, which I keep with my camper van keys. Now I have this Rambler to keep in my rucksack for first aid and repairs while hiking.
Victorinox quality is excellent and even these mini knives are well executed and very sharp. There are so many variants to choose from, it's hard to say which is better. For me, the scissors have been the most used feature, followed by the knife, and in that respect, the Classic SD ticks the boxes and is a perfect no-nonsense tool at a decent price.
All mine, however, have a useful bottle opener and Philips screwdriver tool in common, which is missing from the Classic SD. In fact, the Rambler is a Classic SD with a bottle opener. The Manager is a Rambler with retractable pen instead of a toothpick, and the Mini Champ is a Manager with an extra blade and more features on top.
I love them all!

Richard Cameron: The TSA broke one carry-on bag looking for it (but couldn't find it) and when coming home they found it and took it (watched the agent pocket it when he walked away!).
Wish there was a way to get it thru with only carry-on. Really comes in handy on trips.

Gustav V.: This knife is perfect in every aspect expect one: it's so small that it slips out of the pocket and gets lost too easily.
Which is what happened to the one I ordered after two weeks so I had to buy another one. This time I will put something on the keyring to make it better at staying in the pocket.

The combination of tools is just great with the scissors, philips screwdriver and the flathead screwdriver.
It solves all the everyday needs around home like opening things for changing battery, opening packages, cutting threads and loose fingernails and so on without having to run around grabbing different tools.
Tweezers is also good to have, and of course the knife blade (which is small but sharp and works very well).
The nail file is a nice touch, and I also find that good to use as letter opener instead of using the sharp blade for that. The bottle opener isn't the best, but it does the job, and it's understandable that it's hard to make a better bottle opener on such a small tool.
The only real disappointment tool-wise was the wire stripper which didn't work at all for me when I tried it (trying to strip the wires for a lamp cable). But maybe it works well...

jujujuju: Petit couteau suisse pratique avec pince à épiler, cure dents, tournevis cruciforme, tournevis plat avec lime, petite lame qui coupe très bien, ciseaux qui coupe très bien. Tout est super fonctionnel et sa petite taille très pratique peut-être mise dans la poche ou dans un sac à main ou en porte-clé grâce à son petit anneau. J'aime beaucoup 👍
