Pam Cicigoi: This hat is so cute! Has a nice overall shape, and the head band is slightly adjustable. The chinstrap is removable if it’s not windy. The ribbon is nice grosgrain ribbon, and adds a feminine touch. So glad I bought it for vacation. Normally, if I feel I need a hat, I cram an ugly baseball hat on my head. This is so much nicer! Buy one, feel pretty!

Taradab: I actually purchased this for my mother. Although she is in her mid-80's she still gets around here, there and everywhere very well. She was looking for a sun hat for those days the sun beats down on her while she is out walking. She looked in several places but could not find a hat she truly liked; either they looked to masculine on her, the brim was to wide or the hat had creases on it from being pre-folded, etc. She asked me to check Amazon to see if there may be anything that she may like. Having found this hat and seeing that it sounded like something that may suit her needs, I ordered it and am so glad I did. She loves it! It looks fantastic on her and, best of all, it stays put and really does help keep the sun out of her eyes and from scorching the nape of her neck. The brim is wide enough to do the job without being so wide it interferes with vision. Additionally, it stays nicely in place once put on and it looks very fashionable, too. Great choice of a hat at a more than fair price. I definitely recommend this hat and so-much-so that I am planning on purchasing one for myself as well. No regrets here!

Wildlife Gal: I found the hat too large for my hairless head, and the brim is larger than I am comfortable with, as it kept hitting my back. That said, this IS a sun hat, and IS designed to protect your face and neck from the sun, and I believe it would be lovely used for its designed purpose...I was seeking a fashion hat.

As a sun hat the brim will definitely protect you, the design was lovely, the weave tight, and quite soft. The hat is sturdy, yet collapses/folds down nicely. All in all, this is a perfectly designed sun hat, offering superior sun protection, and would be ideal in a hot, sunny environment.
