Fit is true enough to size. I normally wear a 9.5 in boots, and with the 9.5 I had enough room for decent socks. For very thick socks you may want to go up at least a half size. The fit is somewhat narrow in the toe box, so if you have wide feet this might be an issue. The length was fine.
