Shred Bundy: Update: the product manufacturer reached out to me to address some of my concerns which I really appreciate. While they weren’t responsible for sending me the seats in question, they provided me a partial refund even though I decided to keep the slightly defective seat. Really solid customer support from Velmia!

City model is pretty firm and doesn’t feel like gel or memory foam saddle but it absorbs bumps well and is supportive. Decent seat for the money but pretty low quality compared to high end manufacturers such as Ergon, SRAM etc. First Seat arrived with the vinyl coming undone from the seat frame. Second seat arrived pretty dirty and the seat cover is mis-aligned slightly. Tired of exchanging these so just kept it and after two weeks of use the seat is now loose on the frame despite how hard I tighten the seat rails. All in all a better seat than the one that came on my bike but not convinced this will last long

Gordon FGordon F: Installed easily on our Peloton bike. We had been using a slip-on seat pad. (Gimme a break; we're ancient non-cyclists.) For me, it has two advantages over the slip-on pad: 1) It's a one-piece solution, and 2) I no longer slide forward on the seat while cycling. That's a big win for me!

My wife thinks it could be more cushy. Sorry, honey; we're keeping it! (She can always put the slip-on on this seat.)

kbfambuyer: I bought one of these seats for myself as I am getting older and the standard MTB seats are much too narrow and hard on the body. Although I can't testify to the durability yet, the comfort of this seat vs the OEM seat on my new e-MTB has been a massive improvement, and the quality seems high as well. Liked it enough to already purchase a second one for the wife. Riding just got more enjoyable.

Nicolaas Bogaard: Dit is een vrij breed zadel, stevig en niet zacht. Het geeft door het memoryfoam prima ondersteuning. Heel belangrijk voor mij, je glijdt niet over dit zadel. Het bovenmateriaal is een beetje stroef en dat maakt je zit corrigeren onder het fietsen onnodig. De eerste dag heb ik een tocht gemaakt van 48km met dit zadel. Vanwege het nieuwe zadel was er, je moet er toch aan wennen, een beetje zadelpijn. Dit was echter snel voorbij, een goed, mooi en vooral comfortBel zadel.

Aziz Samah: J’ai installé cette selle sur mon VTT à assistance électrique en remplacement de celle d’origine et j’ai constaté une réelle différence sur une balade d’1h30 . Je n’avais aucune douleur en arrivant et plus de plaisir dans les sentiers escarpés.

Mossydog: I bought my bike to get back in some kind of shape after being bedridden for over 3 years. I'm disabled and over 60, so regaining some physical health won't be easy. I've lost a lot of weight, including upon that part of me I sit on, so even with the gel pad I put on the stock seat, it was still too uncomfortable to sit on for long.
Not with this seat, it's wide enough, well thought out, well contoured and not too soft to offer good support and still be comfortable enough that I can ride my bike for more than 20 minutes without discomfort. Although I haven't yet had a chance to use it as much as I want, it seems well made and should last, I'm very happy with this purchase and on top of it all, it is reasonably priced.
Thanks for this, it really has made a difference and I look forward to using it daily for quite some time to come.

Muller Christian: La selle correspond parfaitement à mes attentes (achetée dans sa version la plus étroite). Le confort, relativement dur, est parfait pour moi (je fais beaucoup de vélo et mes fesses sont donc assez "résistantes"), mais attention, la selle n'est pas moelleuse. C'est un peu comme avec des matelas, certain.e.s les préfèrent bien mous et d'autres, plus fermes. Pour ma part, je fais partie de la deuxième famille ... Sinon, la selle a un très beau design, le montage est facile et s'effectue rapidement. Le revêtement de la selle est, à mon avis, un peu trop accrocheur, j'aurais préféré un traitement un peu plus glissant (mais là encore, c'est une affaire de goût). Pour ce qui concerne l'imperméabilité, je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de la tester, et pour le côté durable, il faudra voir dans le temps, impossible de le dire pour l'instant. Mais en tout cas, la selle est très bien finie et donne une bonne impression de solidité. Tout cela pour un prix tout à fait raisonnable ...

Hoang Lam: I got this seat to replace my Cloud-9 comfort saddle (not the cruiser one but the smaller one). The comfort of the Velmia is actually very similar to this one except that this one is a little lower profile (not as thick) and less wide. I got this over the Cloud-9 because my bike light (which mounts on the saddle rails) work better with the Velmia, since the bar rear horizontal bar doesn't hang so low that it obscures the light. Otherwise, i would've been equally happy with either seat. Its squishy like the Cloud-9 (gel cushion) but in different way since it uses memory foam. It felt slightly less bouncy. My only nitpick is that the Velmia is grippier than most seats i've tried since it has a textured rubbery surface. This could be either a pro or a con depending on your preference. I like to move around sometimes on the seat, so wish it was a little more slippery. If you really want to stay planted on your seat, then this will be a plus for you. In terms of quality, it looks and feels really nice; enough so that i could believe that this product was designed in Germany.
