Kindle Customer: I stumbled into the VeganRicha blog about 6 months after I transitioned to vegan, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered all her cookbooks and haven't looked back. This is fusion food done deliciously. Try the Easiest Black Bean Burgers - my non-vegan husband could not stop eating them and still raves about them. Try any main dish from this book - most are quite forgiving and all of them are terrific. I like the format with chapters by master sauce recipe, many of the sauces are interchangeable between recipes. Proteins and grains can be swapped out at will. Your taste buds will never be bored.

gena etchemendy: I love that Richa has organized her book in a very methodical way so that you can interchange sauces and/or ingredients depending on your dietary needs and desires. I appreciate how she has considered people with food sensitivities. I wish all cookbook authors would do this to make their recipes accessible to all.

Eternal Senshi: I bought this cookbook 5 years ago when Amazon had the price set as a reallllly good deal. I wasn't even vegan or vegetarian then.
Fast forward to 5 years later, I've been cooking at least one vegetarian meal a week. I rediscovered this book on a shelf full of forgotten books. Why not give this a try, I thought.
So far I have made one recipe from this and the meal was absolutely tasteless. My partner and I forced ourselves to finish it, despite it being so bland. I don't know what it was. Perhaps it needed more spices or salt or pepper but it was not memorable.
Based on my one experience with this and glancing through the book and reading ingredients for other recipes, I would recommend this if it's on sale and IF you know how to properly season your food. Because you're going to need to do some extra work here.

Deb VoegeliDeb Voegeli: I'll admit, when I first opened this cookbook and saw long lists of ingredients and full pages of instructions I was a bit intimidated but I dove in and started trying the recipes anyway and I'm so glad I did! I've now tried at least 12 different recipes and all types of dishes from this book and everything has been delicious. Such a great variety of flavors here! Lots of them are hot, so look for multiple ingredients that add heat and adjust accordingly. The recipes are easy to follow and there are photos for most of them. I have only found a few ingredients that were not readily available in my supermarket and those were easily obtained online. I can't say enough good things about this cookbook. This has become my favorite vegan cookbook and I can't wait to try more from it.
Update: I have now made over 25 recipes from this book and have loved almost everything I have made. (Please note, I make the recipe the first time as written, and then again with tweaks for my taste.) I can't recommend this cookbook enough. There is enough deliciousness here that I can't choose a favorite, and rotate through them all!

Vishal Manocha: This book is so great. It covers the dishes that you would love to make on special occasions or when you feel like having something other than daily routine food. The author stresses on the most imp point that for every dish, it's sauce is the key, so she has taught us how to perfectly make every sauce before jumping to whole dish.
The proportions of ingredients mentioned qre so accurate with lil tips on alternatives that I made a sauce so tasty that I was surprised with myself.

C. A. Bunde: If you are looking for good, reasonable-to-make plant-based/vegan recipes, this cookbook is gold! I've been following Vegan Richa on Instagram and made several of her recipes prior to purchasing the cookbook. They all turn out great. My husband has selected & made several. She has a nice mix & match approach with sauces - you can do a sauce & main dish over noodles, rice, on its own, etc. The desserts look amazing - so far we've only tried the salted caramel w/ chocolate pie, which was easy to make in a high-speed blender, and quite phenomenal. Richa also provides many options for gluten-, soy-, nut-free if you need those.
A few of the ingredients are not common in my area (dried mango powder, tamarind paste), but we've just left them off and the recipes still turn out tasty. I like her recipes so much, I'll probably order some of the items so I can get the full effect of intended flavors. Generally, the recipes come together quick enough for a busy weeknight and use regular ingredients which can be found at the routine grocery store.
I'm trying to get my family to eat mostly whole foods plant based & this cookbook makes it quite easy. I have teens...
