I understand this "Single Serve Meal" is intended to be a quick and convenient, grab-and-go item so I'm trying to take that into consideration. However, the expiration date for the portion I received was about 26 hours after its late PM delivery. By the time I thought about eating it, it was the day *after* expiration. (So only about 38 hours in my fridge). I decided to go for it anyway. The smell was a bit off--but most dishes with vegan cheese don't always have the best aroma. That said, I've never had this dish... so we'll see I guess.
The taste is ok and portion size is definitely acceptable for a one-person midday meal or two-person side. However, at this price point and quality level, I wouldn't choose this as my go-to option for an in-the-moment entre and I'd prefer to have a longer time to work it into a meal as a side.
6/10 simply because it's always nice to see retailers taking a change on new vegan options!

This was really good, the squash had great flavor and a perfecttexture. The cheese and noodles were good. It said plant based, but honestly I never would of guessed it was.
The portion was big, I could of made 2 small meals out of it. I'll order this again.

RachaelRachael: Portion size was surprising. Definitely holds its own as a meal or as a side for 2-3 people. After eating, I decided to look through reviews and it seems to be all over the place. Certain things people said did not apply to mine at all! It definitely wasn’t over salty and my butternut squash was cooked all the way, if not too much.
I have been vegetarian for 16 years and was vegan for 6 of those. Starting to cut dairy back out now that I have a breastfed infant with dairy intolerance. Anyway, this is the least “vegan cheese” tasting vegan cheese I’ve ever had. It’s good. Like really good.
Very creamy with lots of flavor. No hallmark taste like daiya has, and no overwhelming nooch taste. Definitely worth trying for anyone who loves trying different vegan macs like I do! The butternut squash was a little overwhelming to me, but the big issue was HOW MUCH sauce this had. I love sauce. I eat more sauce in everything than anyone I know. This was way too saucy. Almost like a butternut squash soup with noodles in it. I honestly think there was a mistake made because no one else describes this and the pictures look different. But holy cow it made it so...

PS: As a long-time vegan, I was excited to try this new vegan macaroni and cheese. What a horrible disappointment. This was one of the most disgusting meals I've ever had in my life. I can't believe someone came up with this nasty recipe and approved it for mass production. The sauce is gooey, flavorless, and too salty. The pasta is overcooked. Amazon should be embarrassed about this meal and find a new supplier for their ready to eat meals. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Absolute fire, I will most definitely be ordering more. I do wish it was just a little cheaper, but I think it's worth it overall. 10/10 delicious
