aneye4wonders: Have you ever seen a lovely girl in a typica; teenager's dress and you think what a nice girl she is and that she could date your son!? Right...until she turns around and shows that she doesn't have a slip on on! This very thing happened to me about 3 years ago, for the first time. Not only was the dress too short but you could see that she had on 'thong' panties because the dress clung to her body so much! I was embarrassed for her, her mother, her father, and the who audience who had to be a part of that ugly scenario!
Girls and women: PLease wear a slip! Be modest! Be appropriate! Times change but wearing a slip will always be the right thing to do! This product fits as expected. Is long enough that you don't have to wear a full slip PLUS a long slip and stays in place!. My favorite product to wear and to give...from Vanity Fair!

ShinyKariShinyKari: I purchased two of the lace-edged slip in 22" length, size 2X, one in beige, one in black. They fit beautifully, hit me just above the knee, and are very comfortable. This slip is also *slippery,* which is kind of the whole point of a slip and yet is difficult to find these days. Other slips I've purchased have been cotton and staticky, making them useless under certain fabrics.
The only issue is one that other reviewers have mentioned: the straps. The strap is NOT attached to the slide! The ribbon is instead folded and sewn to itself as a sort of stop. (See photos.) The beige version has been perfectly fine for me, and didnt' come undone in normal wear or washing the machine on delicate. The black version, however, came undone the first time I took the slip off! If you are handy with a needle, I highly suggest going ahead and sewing the little tab to the other side of the ribbon so that the center bar of the slide is secured. If you're not confident with that, you can simply reinsert the ribbon back into the slide, though it may take some finagling.
Despite this, this is still the best slip I have found, especially at this price point and I would purchase it again.
