KaylaKayla: The media could not be loaded. We painted the wall first, then mixed the glitter with clear coat. It really does sparkel, but there definitely are some spots where the glitter is much thicker. But my 9 year old LOVES her newly painted room, so that's all thar matters! We only used maybe 1/4 of the bag in 1/2 quart of clear coat and only did the clear coat once. Side note: you have to mix the glitter mix right before you use it each time as the glitter will settle to the bottom!

Kelse: I added this to a light gray paint for my daughter's room. When dry, the walls looked beautiful! it added a fun sparkle to the walls. Although it is much more noticeable under a well lit area, the glitter can be seen in a lesser lit areas as well. My only complaint, which I imagine would have been similar with any glitter paint additive, is that you have to constantly stir the paint/glitter mixture, otherwise the glitter will settle.

EricEric: The directions say good for up to 2.5 liters of paint. I slowly stirred in one package of silver glitter into one gallon of paint.
WOW!!
Adding more of this would make the room look like a disco ball!
No matter where you look, there are subtle pops of glitter. I had read reviews where people had to sand their walls to bring out the effect. I mentioned this to my Wife, and she felt we had enough sparkle without sanding.
I don't know if this makes a difference, but I only use really good paint. In this case, Behr 1 coat paint and primer from Home Depot in a Satin sheen. I take my time mixing the glitter into the paint, probably taking 7-8 pours to get the single package into the paint.
I've used a Valspar glitter additive in the past (which I can no longer find) that worked well, but their directions said to use within 3 days, so the glitter wouldn't become swallowed up by the paint. I kept this in mind with this product.
A great product, fun subtle effect, & better price than what I had used in the past.
Looking forward to trying more colors!

Kungfubisquit: The media could not be loaded. Added the silver holographic glitter to the paint I was using for my kitchen cabinets. Definitely not for everyone but damn it looks amazing! I have 2 packs of the turquoise holographic glitter to add to the paint for the kitchen walls. Looking forward to how awesome it’s going to look. A couple of things....it does make the paint thicker. Yet I had no issues applying. Also I was afraid it would feel more rough than I liked. While it still has texture to the touch it wasn’t horrible. After buffing and adding 2 coats of the clear protectant it minimized the feeling but wasn’t completely gone. Lastly, I spent an extra maybe $12 on the white buffers but actually had better results using a blue dawn sponge with the blue scrubby side. Obviously no water, I just happened to have them under the sink. After I burned through both white ones I had purchased and still had over half the cabinets to buff. I figured I have nothing to lose because I certainly didn’t want to wait a few days to order more.
PS I was also making this video to show off my epoxy countertops that I had just finished alo

momtofive: I absolutely had to write a review of this product after scouring the reviews of this, and other, glitter paint additives, for weeks before biting the bullet.
I just painted one "glitter wall" in my daughter's bedroom and I'm beyond pleased. I was so worried after reading so many reviews that this was going to he disastrous, but instead I ended up with EXACTLY what I wanted.
We added the one packet of gold glitter to 6 cups of sherwin williams CASHMERE paint (in the same color that the technichally "finished wall" was already painted in- "lighthearted pink" if you're interested). I'm mentioning this because if I had to guess this is where a lot of people go wrong. DO NOT USE CHEAP PAINT ON YOUR WALLS...EVER. It will give you a hard time and it will likely end up looking as cheap as it was. So anyways, from mixing in the glitter to one coat finished took us under 45 minutes (my husband has to cut in for me ....no ladders for people 8 mos pregnant with twins). I'm no professional. I painted my first wall 2 weeks ago when we first moved into our new house. I thought I had a super awesome chance of screwing this up OR that the glitter wouldn't even show up. So many...
