syrus: This is much nicer then i would have thought. I used it in a bad storm we had camping and it did the job with out a hitch. kept me dry did not rip or snag on any of the brush we had to trex through to get back to camp in a storm from hell we had.

MeganKC: Took it on a horsepacking trip in the rocky mountains. The fabric is soft enough it didn't spook the horses (the way cheaper ones do) and was long and covered my legs. Kept me warm and dry. Overall 10/10 would recommend.

GodzillaGodzilla: Ich benutze den US Poncho Typ seit Jahren, bisher habe ich die Ponchos von Helikon Tex gekauft und war mit der Qualität sehr zufrieden, da sie aber keinen in Coyote-braun im Angebot haben, habe ich es etwas zögerlich mit diesem hier versucht. Wer schon mal einen Poncho bei MFH oder Brandit gekauft hat weiß was für ein wertloser Schrott auf dem Markt zu kaufen ist, Druckknöpfe die sich nicht zusammen drücken lassen, dünnes schlecht verarbeitetes Material, keine oder schlecht abgeklebten Nähte, nicht so bei dem Poncho von USGI Industies.
Dieser Poncho schlägt was Material und saubere Verarbeitung angeht sogar meinen bisherigen Preis/Leistungs Liebling von Helikon Tex. Wenn das US Orginal auf einer Skala von 1-10 eine 10 darstellt, liegt der von USGI Industries auf einer soliden 8 und der von Helikon auf einer 7. Er lässt sich super mit Woobies oder Swagmanrolls verbinden ist klasse als Plane zu gebrauchen und natürlich auch als Regenschutz. Jeder Zeit gerne wieder!

Andrew Makins: The hood is too big. It keeps the rain off your head ok if you don't mind tightening the hood to the extent that it's covering your eyes, otherwise it'll just blow about all over the place. I had to stick velcro in four places around the hood and make folds (one set near the top of the head, one further down the back of the head and one on each side just above the neck). It would also benefit from having some kind of hanging loop to hang it up when it's wet.

DT: First, I will say I was initially impressed for various relative-based reasons that might not apply to another buyer. And although I'm not military, even I'm pretty sure (or at least I hope) this is NOT milspec. What it is instead is a _potentially_ very good and lightweight low-cost highly versatile poncho. The snaps are both a great feature and the biggest potential problem I see so far--without extended use--yet. They are stackable--I don't know if this is a standard for military that they are using to claim milspec, but it seems very useful for improving versitility. The problem is the snaps come off. Meaning they come off, possibly from normal use, and not much of it at that. I think if we asked the seller, they'd say, "well, that's very atypical and they're actually not supposed to come off. and we shouldn't have people thinking these tarp ponchos are unsafe..." Nonetheless, this is a case of, "the front fell off." for me. The funny part is I'm still giving it 4 stars for a couple reasons. FIrst, I think the rest of the poncho is pretty good quality for the price. It feels to me at least--and I know nothing of the seller-- but it feels like they made a genuine effort to...
