Frances Ziemann: This book is a wonderful place to begin your color analysis adventure. This is the book that started it all. It's been around forever and covers not only color analysis, but also clothing cuts and necklines that enhance the bocy and face shapes. A must have.

KathL: I had heard about this book for many years and I know it was all the rage in the 70's to have your colours done. to see what colours suited you the best and brought forward your natural beauty etc. I recently have had my colors done and wanted this book more as a reference point , so I could re read snippets as needed and for a reminder of what I had learnt in the hope that the information would stick in my head and help me when shopping . To say this is an older written book and can read slightly dated at times, the information in it regarding colours is still totally relevant. It basically tells you how to read your own colours and gives you tips on how to find out whether you are cool or warm etc . I bought the kindle version as I have too much physical stuff. I consider it a great purchase, it includes a colour chart for each season. I am in the process of changing my clothes so that they are in my colours, it has made a huge difference to me when I wear the correct colours, its sort of makes you glow and light up in the mirror, and total strangers comment on how nice you look. I will never not wear my colours again.

Twich: I needed to go back and refresh my memory of what colors are mine. I knew from back when the book was really popular and had my colors analyzed I am a Winter. Thru the years I fell prey to things that became "stylish " even when they weren't for me. I wore silly colors. I have stopped doing that and am getting back to the correct colors for clothing and makeup.

Roselani L. Straus: I had this same book back in the 80’s. I bought this for my daughter because she was wondering what tire of “season” she was and wanted to expand the colors in her wardrobe. The book is a classic, but the principles are what the consultants use today. The book gives you the tools for the fraction of the cost. Although the experience may be what some look for, seeing a consultant, it’s totally okay. Not hating, I just know this book will not fail you

Semo: I enjoyed this book. I have been meaning to read it since it was published but only got to it now - about 30 years later. I wanted it for my goddaughter and I know she will enjoy it. I bought an orange hat a few years ago and everyone said I looked very well (even though) sometimes I felt unwell so I wondered why. I now know it is one of my colours. My young cousin has started to wear different colours . When one is unwell colour can cheer one up. I knitted a couple of colourful scarves and they lift my spirits. All young mothers should be told about colour when they are pregnant as it will help them when the baby is young and they need something positive to lift their spirits.

Elena: The book talks about 4 different color types: Summer, Spring, Winter and Fall and which shades and colors should be worn by women, depending on which color type they belong to. This book can be used to help you determine which shades and colors make you look better, teach you wearing "your" colors. As a friend of mine once said that even if you are depressed, single, lonely and sick, if you are wearing a sweater of "your" color you will look decent. Perhaps not excellent but not bad either. "Your" colors will bring out the best in you.
I found this book to be very helpful in determining the colors that are right for me, but one thing in the book I didn't like - there are a number of clothing personalities listed but it's not really easy to determine which one you belong to. I mean, there is no way to double check if you have selected your clothing personality correctly.

Roxy: So much knowledge and everything makes sense!!!! Reinventing myself and my closet. I used to keep buying brown and beige things for example because that’s what most people wear during fall and they both look horrible on me, now I know why and I’m not gonna bug them anymore lol highly recommend!
