Mystic: This was an amazing book to read. I was touched by the moving story regarding the death of a child - the perspective of thinking of it as a graduation of this persons child having accomplished her destiny to graduate to join GOD.
Having to bury my only daughter. Two years later my mom (due to cancer) followed by my sisters death two yrs after my mom. This opened my eyes and heart of a different perspective of thinking - when I feel the loss of these very special people in my life.
This book had stories to share the created an awakening of the way I have had moments of "Godwinks" in my life.
I will be reading other "Godwinks" book having read this which was my first of them.. This book will touch one in ways they will not at first expect.. Yet will be grateful they took the time to read.

Jim Morris: This was recommended by a born again friend, though the principles put forth here can be found in many other contexts. I'm not a big fan of Christian lingo, but if you can get past that this is an enlightening and useful book, as it teaches what many have observed, that there is way too much coincidence to be coincidence. The author was president of children's programming at one of the networks, and he has a tendency toward the cutesey, so, if you don't like that and you don't like Christian phraseology then you've got two things to get past. But the stories he tells are inspiring. I found myself crying while reading the story of Emmanuel and Sandy Patti, which was a bit embarrassing as I was sitting in a doctor's waiting room at the time. But there is no doubt that following the principles taught in this book will make your life better, and that's what it's about.

kathy: this book was okay. it gave me something to think about, but was not what i had expected from it. some of the stories were good. Many were okay. About 1/4 of the stories in the book were boring. The book did get me thinking and i have noticed since reading it i have taken notice more of my own life. the way i live, some changes i would like to make and could make if i believe. it was much about what the lord can do for you, but moreso what you can do for yourself. that is what i got from reading the book.
