Ian Fraser: I bought two copies of this book for myself and my brother. We are fossil hunters and wanted a good, handy reference book on hand during our travels. The flex-binding sure is nice and the book is very informative on fossils of the world.

Maria: I bought this book for my 7-year-old grandson because he recently discovered the world of rocks! He carefully compares the rocks he breaks open to possible stones showed in the book's excellent pictures, and he reads about those stones. He loves to look through the book at all the rocks he may potentially uncover. Though while the book is great for my grandson, it is also interesting reading for adults. Excellent book!
