Jeff Baumann: This book is on the same lines as “The 4th industrial revolution” written by klaus schwab. It explains no so distant future technologies and gives an insight on how they will effect our everyday lives.

Pierre Robert: This is my second reading… and not my last. Booth makes the worldwide adoption of Bitcoin an inevitability. Thank you!

Charlie: The world we live in is going to change, wether we want it to or not, for the good or for the bad depends on when those changes are implemented, either we wait till the world economy collapses with the central banking ponzi scheme or we implement a better one sooner than later which is the bitcoin standard. Not allowing the same central banking system to implement a new digital fiat system to enslave the masses. The masses will eventually rise and make those changes or be subjugated into the new ponzi scheme without bitcoin as the one true decentralized monetary system.

Blake Shepherd: Jeff booth provides a detailed description of what the future may hold with the rapid advancements in technology. Would have been good if further detail could have been explored on the potential outcomes of moving to a worldwide deflationary currently such as Bitcoin.

Jeff W.: In "The Price of Tomorrow," Jeff Booth delivers a compelling and thought-provoking analysis of our current economic system and the challenges we face as technology advances at an exponential pace. Booth argues that our current economic model, which relies on infinite growth and an ever-expanding money supply, is unsustainable in the face of technological progress and the deflationary pressures it creates.

What sets this book apart is Booth's ability to blend economic theory with real-world examples and anecdotes. He illustrates his arguments with examples from industries such as transportation, healthcare, and education, showing how technology is disrupting traditional business models and challenging the status quo. He also explores the potential consequences of this disruption, both positive and negative, and offers ideas for how we can adapt and thrive in this new paradigm.

Despite the weightiness of the subject matter, Booth's writing is accessible and engaging. He avoids jargon and technical language, making his ideas easy to understand and apply. He also infuses his writing with a sense of optimism and possibility, showing how we can harness technology to create...

Hjalmar J. Gerber: Jeff Booth's book is an easy read, but it may do a lot of damage to your comfort zone. This is a good thing, because too many people are comfortable in ignorance while revolutionary changes are sweeping over us.

Ed Cleaves: This booked helped me make sense of some of the current financial narratives, circulating the media (especially those about inflation and deflation).

The book explains how future innovations, in digital technology, will drive revolutionary change in society. These changes will be similar to the transformational impact of the steam engine or electricity. Game-changing innovations resulting in the exponential growth of efficiencies; will naturally lead to deflation.

The thesis of this book is similar to the arguments presented in “The Sovereign Individual”. I found that both these perspectives were complimentary to each other, however.

Many segments of society will resist this change; causing unrest and the potential for conflict. Many Governments will continue to use monetary policy to control the allocation of financial assets. This approach is likely to block progress and result in unsustainable debt levels and an inevitable collapse of the old system.

Reading both books, helped me reflect on the potential alternatives, available to our society, in the future. With a free-market approach and the use of hard-money (like Bitcoin); society will...

Apac: Must read if you are looking to "adust" something. You feel that author is "deflation fan" but i think i will look for some opposite views because some point needs to be well evaluated.

Chris Brandlon: After seeing Jeff Booth on You Tube, I had the impression that I was buying a book about finance. After all, deflation is a hugely impactful economic phenomenon... if we are facing this "great deflation," what does it mean for investors and families?

Regrettably, these questions are only alluded to in The Price of Tomorrow. Instead, we get a cogent case for the deflationary effects of current technologies, and a tour de force of the implications of future technological developments. Rather than dive into the messy details of how this might play out in the actual lives of all those folks whose jobs are going away over the next few-to-several years -- to say nothing of the purchasing power effects on currencies in various countries -- we are offered a utopian model of "cooperation" and "love" as the ultimate solution.

To his credit, Jeff says he doesn't have the answers. Obviously. Nonetheless, as the revelator of this key insight (that technology exerts an inexorable deflationary force in the global economy), it is incumbent on his to deal forthrightly with the immediate implications of his hypothesis. Specifically, what is the relationship between technology...
