It is well made, elegantly simple in design, and arrived in perfect condition in a well-designed shipping box. Glad I found it.

DrFilamento: We have large natural stone fireplace with a gas fireplace insert. There is no window; it's just open. Although it's a gas fireplace, there's plenty of soot in there. Every now and then our darling cat inspects it and changes color and tracks soot all over the house. We can wash the cat with laundry detergent, but it's ruined the carpet.

This screen is large enough to cover the entire opening and I think it's heavy enough that the cat won't be able to pull it back. So it fixes the problem.

I like the style - it's simple enough that it looks great.

TylerTyler: It's perfect! Modern looking. Stands sturdy and flush against both floor and fireplace. You can see easily see the fire through it. It keep my dogs from tossing toys into it. Keeps the kids toys from flinging into it (4 little kids, 2 dogs) The one I received did have the top corner mesh not attached to the corresponding top corner frame. Amazon gave us a discount to keep it, so I happily did and found a way to make it stay down. Mine did not have mesh flaws like some described. No warping. Does not tip. And looks way better than others we tried and took back. I also think it looks much nicer than the chain link curtain that was so hideously hanging in front of fire. I'm a happy camper. :)

lda515: It is lightweight but sturdy enough to do it's job. The design is clean, modern and sleek. The footprint is slim which works well with zero clearance fireplaces.

Ski: While I realy like the look of the screen...contemporary, good fit and reasonable price. I am disappointed in the quality. First screen had vey large flaw in center of screen mesh. Second had flaw in same spot but I was able to fix..also had a couple of bulges in screen at corners but aren't real noticeable so keeping screen.
