Burak Ersoy: Nowadays, AI is the hot topic. I hear debates and scientific(!) discussions how AI will surpass human intelligence. This book openly shows how brain is more complex and useful than common people like me describes. A fresh look to evaluate how to position brain and make AI real useful.

Kindle Customer: This book encapsulates the vast knowledge that goes into neuroscience and the sub-disciplinary fields. How little we know about the brain, yet how far we’ve come in brain research. Easy to read for most laymen with an interest in neuroscience or cognitive science.

Sheila M: Fascinating book about how the brain works. Made me think about neuroscience in a completely different way. The book uses concrete examples in a way that makes the information accessible. The book tackles a great deal of complex material, but the way the book is written is clear and compelling. I highly recommend this for people who want to think about how the brain works, education, how we learn, why we are different, and why we are who we are.

Old Dentist: I have taught fear and pain control to dentists for 40 years. This book is the greatest on new information and theory. It is really eye opening as to new theory and what is proven. I heard the author speak. If you get the chance he is great at explaining complex issues.

Chris Westfall: The science behind resilience and adaptability. The book is filled with stories of people who have had to overcome incredible adversity: the loss of a limb, sight, hearing… And more. Eagleman points towards the resilience and resourcefulness that is part of our DNA. Wondering if you can cope with change, or difficulty, or adversity? Turns out we all have capabilities that are part of our wiring - and the ability to adapt and create is part of the uniquely human system that we can all access. Can science inspire? It can when it comes from a gifted writer like David Eagleman.
