Paul Randleman: It brought to mind all the reasons I still think he was the best president in my lifetime. In spite of massive resistance and down right chicanery he produced amazing results and delivered on most of his promises. Why he wasn't re-elected I'll never know.

Jim Dowdell: The Cost is probably the best, the most balanced and the most complete assessment of the war on civilization that I have read to date. The whole Trash Trump agenda is exposed with factual and verified information. We see that the hydra headed coalition pushing the insurrection is diverse, but all the leaders share one ideology.
Few who follow current events will find any fault with Maria’s assessment of the news. She is one of a vanishing small number of real reporters. This book is a true news report written in a manor that will keep you reading to the end. It will lead you to understand the truth of the American political world. It is too bad that the book was not finished in time to help support President Trump's reelection, but I take a small measure of consolation in the fact that history will have a record of the truth.
This book is about the cost of not paying attention to elections. Those trusting citizens that believe that their politicians have the people’s best interests as their motivation and choose to trust others to decide who will rule, ignore the cost of their ignorance. Robin E: Maria and James are spot on and do a great job of laying out all of the issues that President Trump had to deal with and the MSM and Dems were not interested in looking at. This book lays out the important issues that we as a country need to pay attention to and be aware of instead of just worrying about tweets and direct statements made by this President. We need to wake up and see how our country is moving towards a socialist/communist country and the slope is so slippery and once it starts to slip it will not take long, especially with an ill-informed public. Look at the policies not the personalities - they share what we should be looking at very nicely.

Tanya: After an appalling introduction where it felt like I was reading Kipling's "White Man's Burden" all over again (only instead of only white, this time it's generally 'Americans' and Republican Americans at that) crossed over with cult rhetoric about the superiority of Americans over the entire world, we are forced to wade through (again and again) a Trump apologist's check lisk for why he is not a 'russian asset'. Something that is completely irrelevant to what the book claims to tackle: Sino-American relations during the time of Trump.
The references are also laughably biased, and in choice passages where opinions are presented as facts, they are missing, implying that they couldn't find support for their claims even in their own side's content.
The only thing that is interesting is the chapter that actually IS about China post-WWII and the trade/diplomatic relations it has had over time with the USA. But the rest of the book is so biased and even phrenetic in its effort to advocate for a Trump re-election that I feel compelled to fact check even the history review therein.
Two stars ONLY for the history bits. All the rest is at best tedious, at worst...

Chip Banks: A good, worthwhile quick read.
We are reminded the President delivered on most of his campaign promises despite relentless attacks from many of the establishment. As other reviewers mentioned, the President entered office as an outsider and it is clear he was never going to be part of the "Club".
The chapters on business and tax cuts are important reads and demonstrate the power and benefits of the US economy when it is allowed to perform. While the President's efforts to push back on China were critical and at odds with establishment consensus. It needed to be done.
A very good perspective of many of the accomplishments and challenges faced by this Administration.
