Only bummer is the Ventura color (gray and mauve) is just gray on gray. But doesn’t change the function at all.

Richard M. Allen: Nice. I'm not using it for camping (keep it at the office to avoid having to use paper plates and plastic ware). Solid. Microwave safe. Easy to clean. Wraps up in a nice easily storable package. Sturdy. Should last a lifetime.

catreycatrey: One of the things that sold me on buying the kit & not just, separately, a 2-piece UCO Switch Spork (what I'd been shopping for) was the cup _with graduated measure markings_ on the inside, easily visible in the manufacturer's illustration on amazon. When I got the kit I saw the cup had no such markings and was annoyed, but satisfied with the components otherwise – especially the nesting Switch spork, which has those extra serrated-knife & extension features not otherwise available in similar items.
A few days ago I was using the cup for measurement, not for the first time – and the light angled off the inside just right, revealing there ARE graduation marks! It took me awhile to find them again even then; they're almost impossible to see. I took pics of their placement – EZ to show how they're invisible; really, _really_ hard to get the marks to show up on the exact same spot, even with a high-intensity flashlight. You can forget about _ever_ being able to see, in practical use, those marks that extend onto the black, collapsible portion.
Also, lint really wants to stick to the foldable part of the cup (which you can see in my 2nd pic) – which is fine if you...

Amazon Customer: After going through at least 12 different mess kits. I ultimately ended up with these as the smaller set without the cup. The bowls I would love if they were a bit bigger for 1st's always feel like you need 2nd's with these but them you feel stuffed. Anyhow bought 3 new sets of them as i had lost the 1st sets in my house. but these came with foldable mugs which was new. The mugs work as intended and do in a pinch, especially if you're like me and forgot your travel mugs. do I use the cups on the regular, no i don't but they're nice to have as they fit within the mess kit.

Just remember that the rubber band holding it all together is not part of the packaging and does not need to be cut with scissors when opening!
