Obviously it is not a high quality practice mat as the picture shows the green strings are already falling off the mat even before using it. When I used it to practice golf swing, the mat was too light and moved every time the mat was touched. Also the mat should be bigger than the current size since most users of this mat would not be advanced golf players and they tend to hit the edge of this mat a lot.

I was kind of put off when I saw one review show how battered up the mat became after only using it for a week. Then it dawned on me that maybe this guy was just a beginner/lousy golfer with way to steep of a swing. My hunch proved correct. I've already hit hundreds of balls off of my mat and it's working great. When I get steep it moves the mat ahead a little bit but otherwise this is exactly what I need to hit in my backyard into my net. This mat is going to last me for years and so is great value.

Die Abschlagmatte ist preiswert und haltbar. Allerdings ist sie relativ leicht und verrutscht, wenn man sie auf weichen Untergrund wie Gras legt. Ich nutze sie auf der mit Stein gepflasterten Terrasse und da gibt es keine Probleme. Insoweit bin ich da sehr zufrieden.

I love hitting off this mat. I have read about people having difficulty because mat arrived rolled up. Maybe because I read of this issue, I simply rolled it the opposite direction and taped it in place for a few hours and then put it on my office floor where I stood on it for a while.
I took this to my back yard net and loved hitting a bunch of shots. It really helps my practice. Previously I gave myself tendonitis hitting off of a 4x6 rug that was placed on a carpet pad. It was plenty soft but I could still jam my wrist into the rug.
People have complained that this mat is too small. Others said they'll fasten it to a board. I love that the mat moves when I hit a solid iron shot. It only moves a little when hitting off the tee. When you hit off the ground, it moves. It's called a divot.. Your divot indicates that you have moved a small amount of the earth. With a static mat, when you hit down on the ball, my arms suffer from the impact. This doesn't happen if you thin the ball, but that's not the goal. You want to hit down into the ball, thus the mat. When I did this on the rug - ouch - since the rug was large and I was standing on it. If...
