Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: So I tried many doggie doors for my sliders but none really worked for me so I decided to make my own. This door worked perfectly.. Only thing is I wish the flap was clear. My pups. are hesitant to go through because it's frosted.I thought I forgot to take some plastic off but no. That is my only issue, otherwise I love it for my 3 dogs.

Aujourd'hui le 7 Octobre, il est à 52.94€, 7.67€ d'augmentation en 5 mois, pour un produit moins complet.
Dommage, la qualité n'était pas mal, pour l'instant pas d'usure, malgré l'usage intensif par 3 Borders.
Il m'en fallait un deuxième, du coup j'ai trouvé mieux chez PetSafe.

Tessssmmm: Most easiest thing I have ever installed. My landlord wanted to charge me $250.00 to install a doggie door. I bought the saw to cut the door and this doggie door for right at $100.00, and I now have a saw future DYI.
It’s easy all you do is trace the hole make the cut, put one piece on the out side the other on the inside, screw in four screws and you’re done. I highly recommend.

ZachZach: The media could not be loaded.  Okay so admittedly my usage case is unique, but I was looking for a heavy duty framed dog door to mount to my screen door. We didn’t have an easy way to cut an access hole in the wall, and the main door is fully glass so no dice using that either. But I was looking for a reasonably priced but sturdy dog door for my rough and tumble herding dogs. The cheaper plastic and mesh ones weren’t gonna cut it. This door did the trick, minus one drawback. I had to find longer screws to drill through the body, because the current screws don’t pull the plastic frame together at all. This is clearly designed to use on a more substantial frame. I feel like with a few minor adjustments in the design this would work as a good option for both. A way to screw the body to itself stably would be one change, and the other would be a slightly thinner frame (about half the depth would give it enough clearance to move easily on a sliding door. Nevertheless, an engineering brain could make this work for a screen door if you mount it to the frame on one side. Also a note to those with any dog over 50lbs. Don’t trust the height recommendations on the box. I wish...
