Rgirl: Bought many of these nice looking switch as I loved the idea of the fast dimmer access to the finger. The bottom line is that these switches interfere with each other. You see lights turning on in various place / rooms when you press 1 switch (randomly). For instance, my kitchen lights flashes when the living room switch is turned on at a certain intensity. You have no control over this and took me weeks to figure it out it was the switches. I bought KASA and no issues to date. DO NO BUY this brand. The customer service was nonexistent and I spent hundreds of dollars with un-useable switches (you want to do that????) .. I wish these could be replaced with new models that don't have these issues.

Cecil Loveall: order this due to a remodel. Was so impressed with how easily the hooked up to the wifi (much easier than older swithces I purchased 3 years ago). and during power outages they re-hooked so much faster, on their own (always had to reset older switches) that I purchased 8 more to replace all existing smart dimmers that were only 2-3 years old. Now, 1 of those 12 switches has stopped working MANUALLY on/off. I would of gave them 5 stars ALL THE WAY, except for that one switch. And of course, beyond the return date. Go figure.

Russell A.: These switches installed, paired, and function perfectly. However, I don’t like how they function. They actuate by pressing on the bottom of the switch to toggle them on and off. The dimmer is in the indent. I knew this when I bought them, but decided to try them anyway due to the low cost. The five star rating is because these switches do everything the manufacturer claims they will, and they do it well.

My finger seems to find the lowest range of the dimmer when I turn on the lights. Then I have to increase the dimmer to the appropriate setting. I also think they aren’t intuitive for guests.

Again, these switches synced smoothly with the TreatLife app and I am using them with Smartthings and with Alexa. They work with my smart home apps flawlessly.

Since I prefer a separate action for on and off, I will probably replace these with a different type of switch.

John: It's been a week since I installed three of these dimmers in our playroom - loving them so far. The packaging, labelling, and the units themselves are really well made.

I had to adjust our "old work" 3-gang electrical box to fit them, since the bolts holding the gangs together stuck out far enough within the box to interfere with the body of the dimmer (they are bulky for a reason, so make sure your electrical box is not of the crammy utility type). A quick pass with a metal file on the bolt shanks helped remove the obstruction, and the wiring was straightforward.
Linking the devices with the Smartlife app takes seconds - all three dimmers were detected in 1 scan. The slick app even allows you to adjust the range and dynamic response of each unit based on light type, as well as lock the dimming range if need be. We use Google Home as our smart home management app, and integrating the switches via Smartlife likewise was a breeze. The touch sensors on the button face respond instantly, and the lights adjust via the app without any noticeable delay. Great job Treatlife!

TrishaTrisha: So I am in the middle of replacing most of my lights with treatlife switches because they are reasonably priced and are easy to set up and the support is really good. Some notes
Pros:
Easy installation. their instructions are step by step and completely relevant. A lot of times I get half done instructions where I have to guess parts of it. On this, the wires are all well marked and color coded. the connections are properly tinned to make wire nut install easy. they are tinned so well that you can even use the pushin type wire connectors and even get them back out if needed, with a bit of work. It comes with the wire nuts and screws and faceplate, but any standard faceplate will work as well. As a note, before you buy this though, you have to make sure the power is in the switch box, not the light fixture. Open the box, pull out the switch and look for 2 white wires connected together, but not to the switch. you should see the black wire from one of the incoming wires connect to one part of the switch and the other black wire to the other part. If instead you see only a single pair of wires in the box and each connected to the switch, this WILL NOT WORK.

JoeyTheFoxxoJoeyTheFoxxo: The media could not be loaded.  I have owned a multitude of smart switches ever since I got Alexa three years ago. I went for big brands (WeMo, TP-Link, Lutron) but have always hated myself for spending so much money on them. This is not to mention how laggy and awful most of them performed (my internet is 250 MBPS by the way). I have a lot to say about the TreatLife smart switches so I shall break my review up into sections for your sanity.

-Ease of Install-

These switches were extremely easy to install. I am saying ten minutes per switch maximum. You must make sure that your home has the neutral (white) wire and have enough room in your electrical box for a dimmer. Always remember to shut off power at the circuit breaker before attempting any work yourself, and if you are uneasy, call an electrician. Hardware is provided, such as screws, wire nuts, and a single gang wall plate. Some of the bigger brands were way harder to wire up and some didn't even give hardware. Also unlike other switches, it works with any decora wallplate (not just the supplied plate).

I love the style of this dimmer, it is just simply beautiful to look...

CanadianAmazonian: I got four of these switches and installed in various locations. They were quite good. I haven’t installed light switches in a long time and I was impressed how much better the instructions are for non-technical people like me. The switches work exactly as described.

Pros:
- Easy setup overall.
- Aesthetically pleasing.
- Nice little light animation when light goes off.
- Touch panel adjustment.

Cons:
- There are seven levels of dimming. Not fine grained enough but Alexa will allow for better control. I found it works better with 10% increments and decrements.
- 5 second holding resets the device and it’s too short. Should be longer like 10 seconds so that kids don’t accidentally reset it.

Rupert D Bear: First off. Packaging is first rate. Intructions are, so far, are the best I have seen for such a product. All the proper steps and warnings are clear so do follow them.
I have installed 2 of the 4 I bought as a package. The only installation hitch for me was that these units are 3/8" deeper than the old dimmers I replaced which made stuffing the units back in the box a real pain (likely due to age of my house which jams more wires in a typical box due to the style of wiring in the late '60's -- neutral wires all there)

Downloaded the treatlife app, tested all the functions . Connection to Alexa was straightforward. Very happy with these dimmers so far. Lots of little details make these better than the other brands I installed earlier:
(In no particular order)
* Indicator led shows the dimming level when power is off mimicking the sliders on the old dimmers.
* The Treatlife appallows you to customize the high and low settings.
* The app also has 3 dimming modes available that let you match the dimmer to the type of dimmer logic in your bulbs.
Very happy so far. Will buy again. (Which, in fact, I did)

DeviMoniDeviMoni: I installed a 4 pack on 1 Feb 2020. We have a single Google Asus OnHub that services our 3-story house including finished basement. The setup process was simple and worked flawlessly in all four installations. Here are the specifics;
1. Living Room – 4xE26(A19) 8.5W bulbs in two (2) lamps, set minimum dimming to 1%, -56dBm
2. Family Room – 4xE26(A19) 8.5W bulbs in two (2) lamps + 1 internal LED, set minimum dimming to 1%, -33dBm
3. Cat Room - 2xE26(A19) 8.5W bulbs in one (1) ceiling fixture, set minimum dimming to 1%, -58dBm
4. LG Kitchen - 2xE26(A19) 8.5W bulbs in one (1) ceiling fixture + 3xGU10 6W bulbs in one (1) ceiling fixture, set minimum dimming to 1%, -48dBm
All Wi-Fi connections are solid, i.e. no drops and of “Good” quality, the furthest distance from the Router is about 30 ft and all bulbs dim without flickering from 100-1%. I use the “Smart Life” and “Google Home” apps on an S9+ running Android 9.0 and on an iPhone X and we currently have two (2) Home Minis to control the switches.
