dc: My baby likes looking at this book. I like that the animals are realistic looking and not cartoonish. I gave four stars because I would have liked it to have more pages, but the illustrations are well done and I'm happy with the purchase.

Very nice: The media could not be loaded.  every evening I show these pictures to my baby, I started showing them when he was 15 days and he still likes it, he is already 3 months old. thank you for such beautiful illustrations

Leonardo: Meu filho olha pra esse livro desde os primeiros dias de vida, realmente funciona para o bebê RN, que enxerga bem mal no início. Até hj com 3 meses ele adora olhar o livro e até já tem preferência pelos animais , recomendo para mães que estão gravidas comprar e mostrar pro seu bebezinho desde o começo, vai distrair eles.

Rolo Jr: my daughter loves looking at the black and white animals. the high contrast makes it easy for her to follow the book with her eyes. would recommend!

CE: Baby likes all but last page. The first time she saw it, she was actively engaged, but for repeated use she seems to prefer Erin Balzer's black and white books (those do have a religious lean though, so some may not like that). But my baby definitely likes more variety than I thought she would, so I do recommend getting a few black and white ones. My baby started them at 2 weeks (before she was too sleepy) and is now 1 month. We only really look at 1 a day, but she is focused throughout the entire book. The only other book she has that attention for the pictures (besides these black and white ones) is a song book, Jesus Loves Me with illustrations by Tim Warnes. I don't know why since those are in color. She will listen to other books and look at me engaged if she does not like/see the pictures. I also recommend Goodnight Moon. I was surprised to see that she had the attention span to listen to the book, but she only likes the black and white pictures.

I love Phyllis Limbacher Tildes' art, but I don't like the last pages of the black and white books either. It is a picture of a baby looking at a mobile. It is just okay. I do think it's worth it to see her light up like she...
