Therese Depcinski: My 4 year old granddaughter is very intrigued with the solar system and she loves looking through my husband's telescope every opportunity she gets. I wanted to buy a telescope of her own that was great for beginners and easy to operate. She was thrilled when we gave it to her for Christmas and it was so fun to see her excitment. Assembly was simple and took less than 10 minutes to set up. It's compact and lightweight which makes it simple for her to take it to multiple locations. The tripod is stable but a little disappointed that it will not extend so It needs to be placed on a table or the ground. My daughter-in-law uses her camera tripod if there's not a table or flat surface. I like that it comes with different magnification lens which are easy to swap and the images are clear. It also comes with a phone adapter but it could be a little tricky to use because the weight of the phone tends to move the eyepiece putting the images out of focus. Over all if you're on a budget and want a telescope for beginners that is easy to use then this telescope is for you. I am not disappointed for choosing to buy this telescope.

Joel Steverson: At a glance, the ToyerBee F30070M looks like a decent entry-level telescope. In practice, you're better off not having a telescope than trying to use this one.
Pros:
Lightweight
Easy to assemble
Cons:
Everything else.
It's not obvious from the pictures, but the tripod is only about 18" tall. You'll have to use the telescope on a table or crouch uncomfortably on the ground. If that was the only issue, it would be a decent investment. Unfortunately, that's just the most obvious problem.
Out of the box, the finder scope is so poorly calibrated that if you are looking at anything smaller than the moon you quickly discover that objects centered in the crosshairs of the finder scope are not at all visible when looking through the telescope. The adjustment screws allow for some corrections, but it's a tedious process.
The telescope lacks any sort of weight or stabilization mechanism. After you line it up you have to wait for the vibrations to stop completely in order to see anything. Touching the telescope at all -- even to adjust focus -- causes significant vibration and the star or planet that you're trying to look at bounces around in your...

DJCDJC: If you are looking for a relatively easy to use, budget telescope, this does the job nicely. Is it perfect? No. If you are an amateur astronomer, this probably isn't for you. If you are a parent/grandparent looking for a gift for an inquisitive child, this is fantastic. I was impressed with how clear the images were. The spotting scope actually is usable making finding images in the objectives much easier. The tripod is quite stable, which is a huge plus. Unfortunately, its also tiny. You'll either need to put it on a table or lay in the grass. I used an old camera tripod and it worked out pretty well, but it wasn't as maneuverable and stable as the included tripod.
Using this telescope with a phone and the included holder is a little tricky. The eye piece holder is not set firmly in place, so the weight of a phone tends to move it quite a bit. This results in the image being pulled out of the frame. This is accentuated when trying to use the Barlow adapter making it almost unusable, especially with a phone. I think looking through the eye piece gives a much better experience than using it with a phone.
The telescope is very compact. Save the box and store everything...
