Tough & Durable Dog Toy: The Virtually Indestructible Best Ball for Your Furry Friend

Patterson: This ball quickly became my German Shepherd's favorite toy. We have a fenced backyard and he learned to maneuver the ball everywhere. He would play hard for 20 or more minutes until I needed to take it away to get him to rest. He would push the ball with his nose, and it was too big for him to bite or chew. This was exactly what I needed to give him the right kind of intense exercise he could do independently. Unfortunately, after several days (of about 20-40 minutes of play per day), his nose developed bloody sores where pushing the ball caused the skin and fur to rub off. I had been filing down rough spots and I decided gave his nose several days to heal but it happened even quicker the second time around. I've considered buying him a muzzle (?) to protect his nose but still allow him to play but have yet to find a muzzle that will allow him to properly breath and not cause sores on his nose as well. Any suggestions would be appreciated. As I said, this is the best exercise toy ever and seems very durable. I had to hide it because he gets very excited when he sees it - favorite toy! B. Coyote: I got this for my dog. I saw a horse playing with something similar and well, my dog is not that big, he does like to play rough with toys until they are terminated and obliterated into millions of pieces.

This one is surviving. The first time out, he over did fun time and well... had a slight limp. We took ball, which means we hid it for a day, then let him back at it. He was crazy again but this time he wasn't dogging it, err, limping. We figured out he got the ball stuck in a particular corner of the garden and was trying to move the massive planter box and that is why he was limping. We removed the PLANT Hazard and he has been crazy playing with it.

His little adopted brother... not so much enjoying that ball. He does love chasing his big brudda as he plays with the ball.

Got the blue one as this is the color my dog loves to destroy! we found that blue toys are his fun enemy. The ball is almost as tall as he is. He is a 60 pound cattle dog mix with some border collie so he is smart and likes to herd things like his owners and that ball!

You need to get your dog a play thing like this! Tons of fun for an energetic dog.

Ken Withers: This ball has taken a beating from my Boston terrier, but when he plays with it it's absolutely covered in saliva and is one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen in my life. When this happens I have let him play with it in a kiddie pool which at least keeps it reasonably clean.

Lab: After numerous basketballs, soccer, large tennis balls that all fell victim to our 65 pound lab in a day or two we paid the big bucks and bought the 10" Indestructible ball from Amazon. This ball is simply amazing for our dog!! Our dog loves to chase, flip the ball in the air off the fence. She chases it, is able to dribble it like a soccer ball across our yard. Our dog is an English lab and super strong - so this size and weight is perfect for her. The ball is heavier for sure than a basketball so it is not something you throw in the air for her to head it like a soccer ball. But for an aggressive chewer and chaser this ball is fantastic!

Stephanie Conway: This product doesn't disappoint! I have a teacup bulldog who is unlike any dog I've ever seen. She loves to herd, chase, hunt, and play so hard. She loves to push balls around but kept popping every ball I got her, ACCEPT this one. We live in Arizona, and despite having a fully rocked yard, she has no problem pushing this ball around on that type of surface. She tries so hard to tear that thing up but can't since she struggles to get her mouth around it and when she does the hard plastic makes it difficult for her to grip it. I have to take it away from her after about 5 minutes or she'll give herself a heart attack chasing it. So happy I got this for her; she can now entertain herself. I just Jose it down after she's slobbered all over it.

Will: My dogs do not want to have anything to do with this ball. 1 will run after it but then just walked away from it. Don't kick it as that will hurt, allot. Its def indestructible as it is made of hard plastic, and because my dogs, won't play with it. Kinda bummed. It was highly recommended to me. Still giving it high ratings because it is not the toys fault, that my dogs don't like it.

Caduceus1963: This thing is heavy and hard. Drops to the floor like a bowling ball. Of course it's virtually indestructable because my dog won't play with it and she'll likely break a tooth trying to bite into it. It scared her! Steel toe boots must be worn to kick it around or else suffer fracturing a digit or metatarsal bone. I wonder how the plastic lasts in the winter months. No soccer in the driveway December to March.

Drfirewater79: Not really what i thought it was ... was hoping it would be a replacement for air filled basket balls the dog loves popping when we are in the pool.

The ball is pretty indestructible ... dropping on the cement does nothing more than scratch the surface. Once it is in water however it fills quickly through the air hole and doesn't release the water easily. Also given its hard plastic this is NOT AN INDOOR TOY ... will do more damage to your wood or tiled floors then it is worth to keep the dog satisfied.

Our dog hates it ... wont play with it at all .. but its more to do with the fact that he is not a drag or play with paws type dog. If your dog loves to chew rocks or move things around with his paws this would be perfect outdoor toy.
