Avid Angler: I was very skeptical on buying this "Gun Butler", one because of the plastic construction, and how the arms for the rifle were not adjustable. For all my rifles this "Gun Butler" has worked perfect. As stated in some of the negative comments, it is true that the arms have a V type rubber wedge that has a tendency to grip the rifle when trying to remove it suddenly, and the arms also could be locked in place, so they don't pull out when lifting your rifle up, but I found these to be very minimal issues, with a little twist most rifles come right out easily. The plastic construction is heavy duty, and it has a very sturdy handle. For cleaning your rifle or mounting a scope I feel this" Gun Butler" is a must have.

STP: Probably one of the most cost effective gun supports currently available. It's simple, robust and straightforward to use. Downsides: well the support forks are quite narrow and non adjustable which may not suit every type of rifle but should accommodate most. It's stable and well made and doesn't cost a huge amount of money unlike some of the other options for what is essentially a plastic moulding that probably cost a few pennies to make.

David Tremblay: Suite a la recherche d'un bon support lors de l'entretien de mes carabines. Le tipton butler est clairement le choix beau, bon, ''pas chère''. Les modules en ''v'' ont un caoutchouc assez épais ce qui protège l'intégrité du manche et de la crosse. Il sert de coffre pour les produits de nettoyage, facile a transporter et a laver en cas de déversement de produit pour nettoyer le récipient c'est simple comme bonjour . Les montures se range dans les endroits prévu a cet effet dans sa base! Aucunement déçu bon produit!

Amazon Customer: Ok,, so its got all the little places to put stuff ,,oil,brush ammo ect BUT,, it is very " cheap" plastic. It is unstable, twists easily and doesn't really seem to hold the gun safely. It cannot be used to zero a scope, as the weapon is not held level,and the stock is compromised as the holding "V", sits right where you need to place your cheek. Basically there are other better ones on the market, but if you just want to do basic maintenance then this is ok.
