Cary Zinke: These are handsome, well made, belts. Light weight but sturdy. All one piece of leather, not that laminated garbage.
I bought one in black and one in brown because I like them so much.

David L. Wagner: Strong leather smell and feel. Suspect it will wear well as it is a single strip of leather - not two strips of leather sewn or laminated together. Stout buckle - appears silver in the Amazon photo but is a dark gun metal gray. 1.25 inches wide. A little small in length. I purchased a size 42inch belt and my 40" waist felt snug with the belt in the second of five notches (that's OK as I plan to lose more weight). Good for jeans or chinos. Would recommend this Timberland belt.

Sandra Sheaffer: I bought this belt for my son-in-law who is a 33/34 waist. According to the size chart I ordered a 36 belt. The chart is right on! No big overlap of the belt. I will definitely be watching to see if there is another. Color, quality, value, appearance, and the leather are great!!!

A bad product selection recommendation guide is ruining my purchase.
The selection guide to recommend to just buy 1 size up from your waist size is tripping me, just 2 inches excess length made after buckling looks weird as if you are gaining weight left little room for next use.
Some lesson learnt, when buying from physical store, my visual sense will tell me not to buy with just 2 inches more, it looks mismatched or weirdo untidy .
